In this week's episode, we speak with Rikki Chaplin, Advocacy Officer with Blind Citizens Australia.  Rikki informs us of an opportunity to have our say with regard to accessible public transport in Australia, and some ideas about interstate Taxi Subsidy vouchers.  We conclude with the first part of an update on the NDIS, and Adaptive Technology.  The second part of Rikki's interview will be featured in next week's programme.

In this week's episode of New Horizons, we speak with Sarah Houbolt, a performing artist who is currently mid-run in a one-woman show, Kookoo the Bird Girl, in Melbourne.  Sarah tells us of the background to her show, her story and how she works as a vision impaired performer.  Her show is running until the end of this week as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival.  The Audio Described performance is on Saturday the 29th of September.
