Today's word of the day is 'sampson' as in misspelling my name as in Brody's as in how the New York Mets misspelled Brodie Van Wagenen's name in a press release last night. Why was a press release warranted? Well, Brodie got caught on a live mic talking poorly about MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and owner Jeff Wilpon. What a disaster. How as this leaked? IT WASN'T! The Mets 'accidentally' posted the feed onto the team's website. Woof (0:06). The NBA continues to get things right. Regardless of what your view is on them, just listen to me here. Games will be played on Saturday. After two days of protest. After countless meetings. After getting tangible action items listed. Let's hope change soon comes. But something happened in one of those meetings that needs to be talked about. Patrick Beverley said something so disrespectful to union boss Michelle Roberts that Chris Paul, Udonis Haslem, and other players had to put him in check. Wow (16:55). Review - Lean on Pete (28:20). For the first time in NPDS history - we have the best statement released of all time by a team... the Baltimore Ravens (32:55). So You Wanna Talk To Samson!? Someone asked me if I think that the owner of the Real Salt Lake MLS team should be forced to sell his team after his most recent comments about players protesting (38:30). #waittosee
