06/23/25: Joel Heitkamp is joined by Jesse Jahner, the Sheriff of Cass County, after the weekend filled with severe weather. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office also released the names of the three victims of the tornado that hit Enderlin Friday night. Michael Dehn, 73, Katherine Pfaff-Dehn, 73, and 89-year-old Marcario Lucio died in the storm. All three were from Enderlin.

06/23/25: Joel Heitkamp is joined by the Governor of North Dakota and former Congressman, Kelly Armstrong. After the severe weather outbreak over the weekend, which included a tornado outbreak, the Governor joins Joel to talk about the statewide disaster, communities impacted, and more. 06/20/25: Joel Heitkamp is joined by Minot City Council Member, Mike Blessum, to have a conversation about the Burdick Job Corps in North Dakota. A proposed letter of support for the Burdick Job Corps Center in Minot was voted on, and fell short of being approved. Mike Blessum was one of the Council Members that voted against it, and shares his reasoning with Joel. Afterwards, Joel also shares his thoughts and reads texts from the "News and Views" listeners.

The agreement in principle combined with the funding which has already been raised, will enable the project to move forward thanks to innovative and creative federal, state, and private partnerships, similar to the model used to advance permanent flood protection for the region.

Chad spent his entire 11-year career as a linebacker with the Minnesota Vikings.
