We all want to support our kids and help them become the best versions of themselves, but sometimes we unknowingly do and/or say things that hinder that. That's what this episode will reveal for you! I've come up with 5 things we do as parents that would greatly benefit ourselves and our children if we stopped them now. I know I say you "need" to stop doing them. I typically don't use that word (you'll find out why in the episode) but really, it would make life so much easier if you did stop. ;)
Here's what you'll learn in this episode:
The 5 things parents do that are severing the connection with our kids

She is the mother of 4 adult children and grandmother. She is a former teacher and holds a Masters in Elementary Education. During her years as a parent, she and her husband created notes and plans they used on their journey as parents. It became their most valuable parenting tool, a parenting plan. Kristin's passion is to inspire others to find, plan, and embrace their unique ways of parenting.
She is the award-winning author of Noteworthy Parenting: How to Use Your Own IDEAS to Create Your Parenting Roadmap and the companion journal, The Noteworthy Parenting Roadmap. Get this book! It's amazing, easy to read, and fun!

The value of creating a parenting plan.
How to begin creating your parenting plans, and how this helps keep the whole family on the same page.
Parenting is not about perfection but about the power in your plan.
