Hey hey!
Today we are talking mental health.
You know I'm a big believer in mental health, and how your mental health and physical health is tied together and inseparable.
So I'm talking about how to keep up with fitness when you're depressed, anxious, stressed, feeling low, etc.
Because if you lean into your feelings, it doesn't help you get out of them.
Hope this podcast helps those who are struggling.
Much love,
Nick

In this episode I talk to my client, athlete, and friend, Kate Doster.
Kate is now a Connecticut State Record Holder for Bench Press in the United States Powerlifting Association.
She won a silver medal in her weight class in her first ever meet, and tells the story of how she reverse aged.
She tells us about how it's not about the weight on the scale, it's being strong enough to fight a bear in the woods.

Hello again you lovely people, I'm back!
Took a little hiatus from the podcast while I've been working on cohosting the Donuts & Dumbbells Podcast (Spotify link) (Apple Link) with my good friend Brooke Madigan.
We are back in full force now, and kicking off the new year with my second powerlifting meet recap.
In this episode I talk about training for my meet, and going through a pretty intense water cut to make weight for the day.
I hope you enjoy, and I hope you learn something.
As always, it would mean the world to me if you left a 5 star review if you enjoy the podcast.
Thank you for listening.
Much love,
Nick
In this episode, I talk with Janice about her time as a former Diamond Beachbody coach. We talk about her going through a test group for a beachbody program, and how and why she got out of the Beachbody space.
We deep dive into her relationship with food, how she felt about those famous colored containers from Beachbody, and what she's doing now to repair her long damaged relationship with food.
Hope you enjoy
Much love,
Nick
What an absolute pleasure it was to sit down and talk to the Legend, Jordan Syatt.
In this episode we talk about
- Fitness while being a parent
- Exercising for health instead of performance
- How Jordan went from deadlifting 4x his bodyweight to giving a shit about fiber
- Embracing your inner child
- The best way to do a somersault.
Sure the last one is a little weird, but get into it. And send me your somersault videos.
We also cover a broad range of other topics.
Anywho, it was a great episode, and I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed speaking to Jordan.
Much love,
Nick
Wow this was a fun episode my friends.
In this episode we talk about Helen's experience with not just gym anxiety, but anxiety in general.
She tells the story of how she cried throughout her first personal training session, and swore she wouldn't go back after that.
But she did.
We also spend a long time talking about her time in Slimming World, and how she had to deconstruct a lot of logic around "free foods".
Hope you enjoy the episode.
Much love,
Nick
In this episode I sit down and talk with Registered Dietitian, Casey Lewandowski.
We cover a broad range of topics such as

- eating for performance

- and a bunch of other stuff and laughs along the way.
Hope you enjoy the episode, and you can find Casey on her Instagram here
In this episode, I talk to Sean, who embarked on a journey to stop nitpicking himself for everything he doesn't like, and instead, learn to love himself.
Hope you enjoy.
