Today on the podcast is the one and only Kaylee Mitchell!
Kaylee runs for Nike's Bowerman Track Club based in Eugene, Oregon.
Kaylee has a remarkable story from not being sure she wanted to run in college to running DII to ultimately going to Oregon State University.
In her time there, she became one of the most accomplished athletes in school history. She was an All-American 10x!
This year at the Olympic Trials Kaylee placed 5th in the Steeplechase running a PR of 9:14. Last year at the US Championships, Kaylee placed 6th.
In today's conversation, Kaylee takes me through her tips for running through sickness, her journey in the sport, how to work through attaching your worth to running, her thoughts on her 5th place finish at the trials, her ambitions for the sport, and more!
This was easily one of my favorite podcasts so far this year. Kaylee shares a lot of wisdom on subjects that don't get discussed that often.
