It's the beginning of the end for the current Government and their final act may well be Budget 2015, which Michael Noonan will announce next Tuesday. So political as well as economic considerations will play a large role in the decisions made. Today's panel discusses the options open to the Government including a reduction in the USC, changes in how corporations are taxed, increases in duty on old favourites petrol, tobacco and alcohol, and how much, or little, scope there is to satisfy the demands of the various ministries.
