Pops Kettle Corn and Pop Paradise’s State Fair Vendor Marc Knudson stops by the show to talk about his first time having a business at the State Fair. He explains what the experience was like, what he would like to change next year, the delicious foods on his menus and Sporkie awards next year.

Kelsey Hendersen joins Spanning the State to talk about her new role as “Fairest of the Fair” an ambassador role for the Wisconsin Association of Fairs.

Kristin Brey and Brian Noonan broadcast live from the Bank Five Nine Studio for day 5 of The Wisconsin State Fair. That start the show talking to Dr. Megan Moreno about a proposed federal law that helps protect youth online. They later talk to Mayor of West Allis, Dan Devine about hosting the fair in the city, and they play “Taste it or Toss it” State Fair Food Edition. Later they spin the state, give their Olympics update and talk about Milwaukee Staple Glorioso’s Italian Grocery store getting a new owner from the Windy City. Later they talk about living off the grid in WI and election bets and get a surprise guest to close the show.

UW Health kids Adolescent Health Expert, Dr. Megan Moreno joins the show to talk about the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) a new federal law being pushed that could help protect youth on the internet. It would restrict tech companies’ access to minors’ personal data, ban companies from advertising age-restricted products and give guardians more ways to supervise.

Kristin Brey and Brian Noonan broadcast live from the Bank Five Nine Studio for day 4 of The Wisconsin State Fair. They talk to Amy Pechacek on how AI may be helping people find more jobs than taking them away. They then have Wisconsin celeb Charlie Berens on to talk about his “Good Old Fashioned” Tour and play a little game. Later they spin the state and talk to Todd Oilschlager about aquatic pups diving at The Wisconsin State Fair’s K9 Sports Arena.

Wisconsin comic and celebrity, Charlie Berens joins Kristin and Brian live in the Bank Five Studio at The Wisconsin State Fair. They talk about his show at the fair this Thursday, his “Good Ole Fashioned Tour”, his thoughts on Midwest politics ad police and they play a familiar game.
