My first question to Sarah Peyton was "Is everybody losing their minds?" I followed up by asking her on camera if we had experienced some kind of mass trauma to create the kind of division and unkindness we see playing out in the world. Her answers were nothing short of profound. In this conversation Sarah tells us how the brain has 8 different emotional circuits and that when one becomes crossed with another, our vulnerabilities are provoked. Rage, Aloneness, Play, Disgust - these are a few of what makes us an emotionally complex species. For example, what happens when we experience disgust crossed with fear?
