Jake Best is an experienced elk hunter and has grown up hunting in Montana his whole life. Jake sits down with us and discusses his 2021 Montana Archery season along with a unique bear encounter, taking his K-9 on his hunting trips, time spent with his father in the mountains, and how making mistakes has helped him in the long run. 

This conversation focuses on our last ditch effort to fill Zach's Montana Mule Deer tag.  When you set big goals for yourself and have high expectations there is always a chance you might fall short. That said, it doesn't mean you lost. With the right mindset we discuss how you can take these setbacks and learn from them. We either WIN or we LEARN.

He discusses the challenges he faced coming from the mid-west, Zach and Tyler's confidential game plan,  and what he believes played the most important role in him ultimately being successful.
