Yugoslavia cultivated extensive literary connections with its nonaligned friends. Writers from Yugoslavia (journalists, diplomats, culture workers, artists, scholars) traveled to nonaligned countries and brought back accounts of their observations and experiences, published in the press and as book-length travelogues.
