Today’s word of the day is ‘accountable’ as in NBA playoff as in Thunder as in Spurs as in SGA as in Wemby. Where was Wemby after the game? Skipped his postgame interviews. Not okay. You have to show up after the game he had. (8:30) Kenny Atkinson is returning to the Cavaliers. He had signed a five-year deal in 2024, but most felt it was his time after another failed playoff run. From the things he said postgame to the sweep by the Knicks, it was all bad. The roster is so expensive, the path forward doesn’t look promising. (17:12) Jalen Duren is eligible for a max contract. It’s all tied into the All-NBA results. The Pistons cannot win if they do it. (29:10) Abner Uribe hit the triple pumps at the Cardinals dugout. Manager Pat Murphy was furious. Uribe said that the Cardinals manager had directed the pitchers to throw inside to Brewers hitters. The Cardinals deny it. (36:40) Review: Devil Wears Prada 2. (40:10) NPPOD. (44:03) Brian Flores lawsuit against the NFL can now go to trial. Wow. The Supreme Court is not hearing the appeal from the NFL.

What is happening with the Athletics in Vegas? Is it being built? Yes. What about the big plans from Bally’s about the rest of the land? Well, there’s an issue there. (8:44) The Athletics are in Sacramento. The Athletics are set to leave Sacramento. But Sacramento wants baseball to stay. (18:30) Fernando Tatis Jr lost in the courts again trying to break his contract with Big League Advance. He owes the company 10% of his MLB earnings as part of a deal that gave him $2 million before he played a game. (29:20) The Seattle Mariners have a problem. A pitching problem? That’s usually not the case. Luis Castillo lost his mind on Monday after being pulled after four innings. Let’s talk about piggybacking. (37:30) NPPOD. (40:50) There was a clubhouse issue with the New York Giants. Jaxson Dart introduced Trump at an event. Abdul Carter was not happy. Then Abdul Carter blamed us for causing a stir. Wonderful.

Today’s word of the day is ‘ecstasy’ as in the New York Knicks as in the NBA Finals as in 27 years as in holy smokes! The Knicks are going back to the finals! Another sweep! Another beatdown! The Cleveland Cavaliers had no chance. I cannot believe how bad they played in this series. The Cavs were up 22 points in Game 1 and lost… and that was it! (15:22) Spurs and Thunder are all tied up! Now the teams head back to Oklahoma City. Can the Thunder get healthy? Can the Spurs hang on? (19:20) The Chicago Cubs cannot win. This comes a week after they couldn’t lose! What is going wrong for Craig Counsell? (27:03) We have reached the Memorial Day part of the season. What does that mean? Standings check! (35:33) Review: Survivor Season 50. (44:30) The ruling is in on Wander Franco. He will not serve any jail time after a pardon from the judge. Wow.

Today’s word of the day is ‘squiggly’ as in squiggly line as in the Thunder as in the Spurs as in SGA as in Wemby. The series is all tied up. Jalen Williams is hurt. Dylan Harper is hurt. There were fouls called and fouls not called. (7:10) The Yankees and Blue Jays had their aces go last night. The aces are young. The aces are not getting back hundreds of millions. But they are aces. So why do teams keep giving out these monster deals? (15:11) Shohei Ohtani is the best. I just can’t. A leadoff HR and a scoreless outing pitching. It’s just crazy. (20:10) The tarps off movement is sweeping the nation. Shirtless fans at MLB games are losing their minds in the stands. And teams have fully embraced it! (27:00) The Angels of where? Lawmakers in California want the Angels to lose the Los Angeles part of the team name. What? (33:10) Review: Marty, Life is Short. (39:00) NPPOD. Let’s take a second to talk about Gerrit Cole and his return for the Yankees. (45:25) Aaron Rodgers says this season is his last year. It’s over. One last ride.
