This week was a tough week, and I likely failed more times than I wanted. Not only did I fall short, but I also beat myself up about it. Maybe you know what I am talking about. Life hasn't gone the way I planned this week, and I kept telling myself "I should" have handled it better. That only made me feel worse about myself. Let's take a step back; let's look at this week again, with fresh eyes...eyes of compassion, acceptance, and love. We walked through this tough week with all that we had within us, and we made it through. I need to learn to see my days through this lens of self-love and compassion. Wanna learn with me? Then let's share this time together and find a new perspective on being authentic through the valleys and mountaintops of our lives.

Am I the only one that has negative self-talk in my mind? I seem to be my worst critic, and my thoughts rarely let up on reminding me of all my faults and failures. Thoughts are powerful. We can use that power of our mind to, instead, tell ourselves more positive words. Today, I walk you through learning how to use Mantras as "healthy self-talk." I have often felt that I am so much more than my physical body. I am more than what I do and say. But who am I? At times I get a glimpse of my true Self, the one that is experiencing this life in this body...and it is amazing. Once you find this soul- spirit-connection, it will merely be the beginning of a lifelong journey of continuing to learn more about the amazing person that you are. Sit with me for a while and practice recognizing your true Self, your authentic Self. Who are you? The answer will likely make you smile.
