Learning how to pivot in life means allowing yourself to maneuver toward change and/or away from something that is not serving. It involves taking steps that are often uncomfortable, but being willing to sit in the discomfort in order to weed out what needs to change. Recently I had a very frightening experience where a stark reminder of the fragile and fleeting nature of life was all too close for comfort.
