  • The "Medicine" We Need More Of.

It's like your first relationship, when you got married, or when you had kids...it's a commitment. If you can't keep it, then what is the point?

Set goals, set expectations, but do it for you. Fitness is a way of life. Fitness is a bettering of yourself. Fitness is the "medicine" that we all need more of. So then why is it so hard to commit to yourself, when you commit so much of yourself to others and other things?

  • No Seat Fillers Needed.

I don't want someone to like me because someone else said they should. I don't want someone to just follow me on instagram to "watch" me.

I want people that are interested in what I do, what I say, and actually care, because you're not my competition. Also I don't want seat fillers to have an auditorium filled of people that just don't get it.

So to the people that get me, listen, and love it all... thanks!

  • Change Your Question.

    Maybe it's your question.

Maybe you just need to change it to get your point across, make someone not feel like garbage, or so you get more than one word answers.

    Change your question.

Join me today on the podcast as we 4.0 our life by changing the question.

  • Don't Be a Rotten Tomato.

With Spring happening today, I more concerned about sink holes and allergies if you ask me. For others, it is the beauty and wonderful budding of flowers.

It looks like someone sprinkled matcha everywhere and then you feel like a fire breathing dragon, so more sink hole talk? Either way, join me today as we compare tomatoes to 4.0-ing your life.

  • Oh, it's very real.

Not needing validation or one's approval is something that we don't see a lot. If we truly think about how we feel, what we want, and the way we see it, maybe we can see what we are doing is real, is great, and is everything worth congratulating ourselves for!

  • You Can't Drive!

A NJ Sinkhole can for sure change a person, but does it also change your driving? No, no it does not. You are either a bad driver or a good one, so no excuse there.

Any who, back with it and figuring it all out as I 4.0 my life!

  • The King Of Kindergarten

The fear of glitter, rescuing shoes, and so much more...

When I first came across Josh's instagram page, I knew I had to follow. Josh is hilarious, on point, and just overly talented. To be honest any Kindergarten teacher needs to be rewarded for all they do.

Josh and I planned a recording and we found out how similar we are and now we are BEST FRIENDS! Seriously, that isn't me just being a stalker.

Thank you Josh for this epic episode and can't wait for a part 2!

  • In My No Era!

After super relating to The Hungry Fork aka Ari, I was like we are so talking about this. It is about saying no and NOT looking back!

  • Why Lie?

Ever tell someone they look great and you don't mean it? What about the person that ALWAYS says your outfit is so nice, but you know they're just fishing for their own compliments and they lie about your outfit in return... why?

Why do people do this? Does it make you feel better? Sound better? Just want to be Perfect Polly?

All I know is my face says it all, and I may have called some people out on this clownery.

  • Love Thy Self

This isn't a religious one folks, sorry if that is what you came for. This one is about letting go of all the thoughts of others, the words of others, and just loving thy self for what you bring to the table.

    YOU are writing your book.

YOU are creating your happily ever after.

YOU are the one who calls the shots.

So YOU let them do what it is they want, and love thy self!

About Off Duty

From the publisher's feed

Back in 2019, I started this podcast because moms don’t get enough off-duty time. I’m a mama, a case manager and this is where the hats come off and we say the quiet part out loud. Off Duty starts…
