MLB Reds the 4 game win streak comes to an end. The Redlegs fall last night to the cardinals 7-1. It never felt like it was close as the offense was nonexistent. Andrew Abbott pitched well up until he came back out for the 7th inning. He was responsible for 3 runs in that inning alone, and was responsible for 6 earned runs for the game. Kyle Gibson had a no hitter going through the fifth inning, but will benson gave the reds their only run on a solo shot in the sixth. Reds and cardinals are back at it today at 1:10. Frankie Montas is taking on Andre Pallante in the rubber match Around the league The dodgers had not lost 5 games in a row in 5 years! They were in danger of adding on to it yesterday but managed to come back and beat the mets 5-2 in game 1 of a double header. They won the second double header game as well. Josh naylor homered twice, and Jose ramierez hit a home run if his own. It felt like a different energy in the ballpark as they nearly sold out every game But yesterday, they added their fourth in a row beating the St. Louis cardinals by a score of 3-1. Nick Lodolo looked unstoppable in his first game since coming off the IL. He went 5 and a third innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 earned run while striking out 3 Fernando Cruz appears to have found his footing adding 1 and two-thirds innings striking out 5! • The Celtics beat the Pacers 133-128 in overtime.  Jaylen Brown’s clutch 3 forced overtime and jayson tatum took over from there. 

Tonight the Mavericks head to Minnesota to take on the T wolves in game 1 of the western conference finals.  Tip off is at 830 and the t wolves are 4.5 point favorites

• Ive got a fever and the only prescription… is more losses.  They lost last night to the Connecticut Sun (singular) 88-84. Caitlin clark had to leave the game temporarily for an ankle injury but returned to finish with 17 points.  She did add 5 more turnovers.  She has 26 turnovers through 4 games.

• Oilers jumped out to a 3-0 lead and thats all they would need to beat the canucks in game 7 by a score of 3-2.

• The pacers and the Celtics square off in Boston at 8 pm for game 1 of the series.  Celtics are 9.5 point favorites.
