What a weekend for the local nine….that’s two weekends in a row where the red legs pull off a series sweep. Last week they outscored the white sox 27-5….this week they sweep the angels out of town, outsourcing that bunch, 17-6. On friday night, — Elly De La Cruz hit a three-run homer, Nick Lodolo pitched 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball for his second quality start since coming off the injured list and the Cincinnati Reds snapped a three-game skid with a 7-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Friday night. De La Cruz manufactured another run with two outs in the second inning when he singled, stole second and third and scored on the errant throw to third by Angels catcher.
