The film focuses on campers who turned themselves into activists for the disability rights movement and fought for accessibility legislation. Misty/Amarilys summary: (said in between tears of joy and admiration) "These people are amazing and they have changed the world!"

Not recommended for young children due to language and adult themes. The educational value is high for teenagers although parents may want to screen first.

Love On The Spectrum is a docuseries airing on Netflix. It's five episodes and very binge-able. And boy, do we recommend it! In this week's conversation, we discuss the challenges of being on the autism spectrum in everyday life, let alone dating and we talk about these amazing young people in their quest for love.
Please note that we did have some technical difficulties with our mics so the sound is off but it's a valuable conversation especially the last 10-15 minutes of the episode in which Misty shares her heart as an autism mom.
