On this episode of the On The Runs Podcast we're joined by Larsen Ojala (11:00). Larsen is a New Hampshire Runner who's life was at rock bottom. From a early age he began drinking and doing drugs. Eventually he found sobriety and a new addiction, "Running". Since then Larsen has become more known for his running and been given the nickname "New Hampshire's Psychopath" for his crazy FKT's running up and down mountains again and again and again. Larsen was very open and honest with his life, we really hope you enjoy this episode with him.

With this being our 2nd year hosting a breast cancer awareness month series talking to amazing women who battled breast cancer, we wanted to take a moment to remember the first few who we hosted on the pod last year in October. In October of 2022 we talked to Nicky, Jackie and Angela. All 3 were like an open book, sharing with us so many details of not just breast cancer, but their life before during and after. We hear about Nicky and the meals program she was a part of and ran for. Jackie shares her story about being an active mom and teacher who had to take a year off to fight. And Angela who wasn't afraid to share anything with us and has had an active ear and friend to talk too for all the women out there going through the same thing as she did.

Their stories and lives are amazing and inspirational, they are some of the most courageous women you'll ever meet. We really hope you enjoy these mini best of clips and if you haven's listened to the entire episode. Go give them a listen.

A jammed packed episode for you with another Breast Cancer Awareness Month episode for you as we were joined by Christine Lewis (14:50). We talked about so much with Chris. She shares with us her stories of Breast Cancer, Race Management, being a business owner and much more. It's October and for the 2nd year in a row we are brining back our Breast Cancer Awareness Month Series as we'll have on some amazing and inspiring women who's lives were impacted by breast cancer. Running and the Running community played a big part in their story and we hope you'll really enjoy the series again this year.

On todays episode, we welcome Jaye Duncan to the pod (00:22:00). Jaye is no stranger to us over the past year. We first got to meet and get to know Jaye at the 5k for Jaye that her friends Justine and Nicole put on to raise money for Jaye and her family as they were dealing with her diagnosis. Jaye shares a lot with us from her personal life and things she likes to do to her whole breast cancer story. We so happy to have her on the pod and think you'll enjoy hearing her story.

Last weekend Erika completed her first 100 miler and as we spoke about last week, we might need to call in a sub for her co-hosting duties this week. It worked out perfectly that Nicole Bryant was able to fill in for Erika. Eric and Nicole spent a lot of time catching up in both the Intro and Outro.
