  • #1375, Autumn Warren Connolly, Affirmations, Kip Watson

    Happy Monday!
Boy, our team is ready for Thanksgiving! Whether you celebrate with a traditional turkey like Junior does, or with a Tofurky or Italian food, the reason for celebrating is the same, being together! We have a great show in store for you today with One Life Radio alumni Kip Watson on at the half! First up, we have Autumn Warren Connolly talking about affirmations, so let's get started!
    Autumn Warren C0nnolly
Autumn Connolly lives in the sky islands of Arizona with her three kiddos and animal babies. She is the creator of Anvil Traditional Healing, a company dedicated to restoring microbiome health through diet. Follow Autumn on Instagram @AnvilTraditionalHealing. Autumn is a self-taught vegan chef, a serial gardener and an avid believer and teacher of the powers of meditation.
    Affirmations
Autumn and Bernadette love affirmations! Many of us have negative thoughts like these, sometimes frequently. When we think like this, our confidence, mood and outlook can become negative, too. Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you repeat them often, and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes. You might consider affirmations to be unrealistic "wishful thinking." But try looking at positive affirmations this way: many of us do repetitive exercises to improve our physical health, and affirmations are like exercises for our mind and outlook. Autumn likes to make her affirmations as specific to her own situations as possible, because the more specific, the more likely your affirmation will become affirmed.
    Kip Watson
Kip Watson is a Licensed Professional Counselor & Supervisor and Sports Psychology Professional. With nearly 20 years of experience with athletes, coaches, families, and corporate teams, Kip can do it all as a certified high performance coach. Trauma and Teletherapy
Online therapy has become much bigger during this pandemic! Online therapy can be traumatic if the person has trauma's regarding attachment issues. In person therapy is great for trust, focus, and insurance coverage questions. But, with the global pandemic, insurance coverage has become quite broad regardless if the therapy is in person or via video-call. There are some great advantages for online therapy too! convenience, cost, and accessibility all obviously factor in. A lesser known advantage to online therapy is reduced stigma. Some people who have never been to therapy before sometimes have a preconceived idea of therapy with a couch and a Doctor with a notepad. Online therapy allows the patient to find their own comfortable safe space before logging on to their session.

Above all else, treat your body well. Food is fuel, so only eat the good stuff! Take breaks and allow and honor yourself to take yourself away from stressful situations and just take a walk.
    Thank You!

  • #1372, Tina Bernet Allen, Deborah Kesten, Nourishment

    Happy Wednesday!
We have great show in store for you today! Fitness expert Tina Bernet Allen is here to discuss how to workout for your age. At the half, we have Deborah Keston talking about nourishment for your mind, body, and soul, so let's get started!
    Tina Bernet Allen
Tina Bernet has a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology, she is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, she is certified in biomechanics, and she is part of the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America. She has been in the fitness industry for over 30 years, teaching cardiovascular classes at several of Dallas’ top studios and health clubs, as well as instructing and developing resistance training programs for individuals and groups in the gym and in the home. She has also been named the “Top Female Personal Trainer in DFW” by the Personal Trainers Hall of Fame.
    Working Out For Your Age
Working out has changed so much over the decades! Tina reflects on how in the 80's, aerobics and just moving pretty vigorously was so big! Now, Tina is in her early 50's and she has started incorporating things like yoga and mobility exercises into her daily workouts. But, Tina says she should have started when she was in her 30's and 40's! You don't need to go hard every day. In your 20's you can get away with going hard daily with running and cardio. But when you hit your 30's, you can actually lose muscle mass from going so hard in your 20's! Strength training is so important. Start in your 30's.

If you're in your 3o's, listen up! Do a mix of every kind of exercise. In your 30's you have a pretty fast recovery time, but do remember to do weight training. In your 40's, give yourself recovery time in between workouts. Nutrition is important too! Eat for your age! Make sure you are getting enough protein, because amino acids are a necessity for increasing muscle mass. Tina suggests go to a stadium, like a high school stadium and go up and down the bleacher stairs once a week!
    Deborah Kesten
Deborah Kesten is an international nutrition researcher, award winning author and medical health writer. She specializes in in preventing and reversing obesity and heart disease. Kesten has published more than 400 nutrition and health articles. Her latest book, Whole Person Integrative Eating has been honored with the #1 gold, best-book award in the Health category by the Book Excellence Awards. She is a VIP Contributor at Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global. Deborah is married to behavioral scientist and co-author of Whole Person Integrative Eating, Larry Scherwitz, Ph.D.
Nourishing Our Mind, Body, and Soul This Holiday Season
The paradigm-shifting, well-researched message in Whole Person Integrative Eating is that food influences not only the physical dimensions of health and healing, but also your emotional, spiritual, and social well-being. Whole Person Integrative Eating is based upon the way we are meant to eat! The ancient food wisdom approach to eating is what Whole Person Integrative Eating is. Whole Person Integrative Eating is based on the original meaning of “diet” back 2500 years ago with Hippocrates. Bring the attention to your mouth while you are eating. Appreciate that your food has life giving powers! Deborah Keston is the person to read about when wanting to eat for your whole self!
    Thank You!

  • #1371, Shawn Wells, Experimentation, Mo Brossette

    Happy Tuesday!
Bernadette and Junior are so much fun together on air! Bernadette put up her own 15 foot Christmas tree by herself, she doesn't need no man! We are so excited to have Mo Brossette on at the half talking about stress. But first up, we have Shawn Wells talking about experimentation!
    Shawn Wells
Shawn Wells is a Master of Public Health, Licensed Dietitian, Registered Dietitian, Certified Sports Nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition. He is also a Fellow of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. Shawn Wells is the world’s leading nutritional biochemist and expert on Health Optimization. He has formulated over 500 supplements and patented 10 novel ingredients. Formerly a Chief Clinical Dietitian with over a decade of clinical experience, he has counseled thousands of people on natural health solutions such as keto, paleo, fasting, and supplements. As a world-renowned thought-leader on mitochondrial health, he has been paid to speak on five different continents. His insights have been prominently featured in documentaries, nationally syndicated radio programs, and regularly on morning television. Shawn’s expertise can help any health-conscious high achiever to better manage stress and experience higher performance and more energy through utilizing his practical wholistic solutions.
    Biohacking Experimentation
When trying experimentation, takes one thing at a time. Experimentation is the action or process of trying out new ideas, methods, or activities. New Years is coming up, so people think that they can implement new, healthier things all at once, but you don't know what's doing what to your body! Some things may be counter productive. Take the scientific method approach instead of the shotgun approach. Start one at a time, like in science, "make a hypothesis" and then go from there! Right down your data, just like you would in science and in business. Shawn says it is good at the beginning, but it also totally depends on the person, because sometimes focusing on the data can take you out of the here and now. Find out what works for you, and don't be afraid to switch up your routine!
    Mo Brossette
Mo Brossette has been in the health and fitness industry for over 24 years, and he is currently the Director of Mindset and Nutrition at The Adaptive Training Foundation. The Adaptive Training Foundation is a Dallas based non-profit that leads disabled military veterans and civilians through a 9-week mental and physical training program called “Redefine”. Through this unique program, Mo helps these adaptive athletes overcome physical, emotional and mental pain, fear, and self-doubt. He is a corporate speaker on Fear and Human Potential, where he teaches companies and individuals how to achieve professional and personal goals, overcome limiting beliefs, and use fear as your greatest tool for success. You can find Mo here.
    Dealing With Holiday Stress
No one can make you feel any way. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. Mo Brosettte says to write down what you're grateful for every day! It takes 21 days to form a habit. Instead of turning on the news, or scrolling twitter, what if you wrote down what you were thankful for instead? Your brain starts to associate things that may suck, with gratitude. Set boundaries! If you have a family member that likes to start fights, political or otherwise, just get up and leave the room. Talk about something good, or nothing at all. Nothing good is going to talk about politics at all! Anything that makes you happy, do it.
    Thank You!

  • #1370, Jason Harris, Soulfulness,

    Happy Monday!
Happy Monday everyone! Everyone at team One Life Radio had a relaxing, well deserved weekend to spend with family and friends! But we are ready to take on another week of pouring positivity through your speakers! We are having fun today! Bernadette, Junior, and Jason all play two truths and a lie! We are so thrilled to have Jason Harris, Founder of Mekanism and Author of the best selling book "The Soulful Art Of Persuasion" on for the whole hour! Today we will be tackling part 4 of the principalities and pillars that worked together to create success, so let's get started!
    Jason Harris
Jason Harris is the Co-Founder & CEO of Mekanism, an award- winning creative advertising agency whose clients include Ben & Jerry’s, Peloton, OkCupid, Molson Coors and Alaska Airlines. Under his leadership, Mekanism was named to Ad Age’s Agency A-list and twice to their Best Places to Work. Mekanism was also named as one of Creativity’s Creativity 50.Harris has been named in the Top 10 Most Influential Social Impact Leaders, as well as in the 4A’s list of “100 People Who Make Advertising Great”. Jason’s national best-selling book, “The Soulful Art of Persuasion,” highlights the 11 habits you need to become more authentically or soulfully persuasive.
    Pt 4 -
To catch up on part one, click here! For part two, click here. For part three, click here!

Jason looked back at how he created success and found the principalities and four pillars that worked together. Today, we are covering "soulfulness." Jason says adopt new skills and try new things every few years, but remember to keep your skills fresh. Don't let them get rusty! Skill hunting is really adopting a work ethic. There's lots of thoughts out in the world swirling around "life hacking," but Jason advises against that. Find something you like, but really focus on it and get good at it. Don't half ass two things, whole ass one thing! Skills and interests are not interchangeable! You can have an interest, but you have to work to make it a skill.

Become connected to something that is outside yourself. Extraordinary principals and integrity are key. Muhammed Ali stuck to his principals, and that is what made him the greatest of all time. You MUST stick to your own code of ethics. You must live by your own moral code. Jason Harris knew from a young age that he wanted to get into marketing. Jason started the "Safety Shake," a contactless alternative to handshakes and fist bumps to help kids (and adults) calm their nerves in this new, contactless world. What a great idea for this new world we live in!
    Thank You!

  • #1369, Furry Friday, SPCA Texas, Castor & Pollux

    Happy Furry Friday!
It’s a furbulous day here in Dallas, Texas! We are proud to say we have partnered with Castor & Pollux Pet Food! As the leader and maker of America’s #1 organic pet food, Castor & Pollux has set a new standard with the most comprehensive portfolio of purposeful pet food. We have a fabulous guest for you at the half, Dr. RuthAnn Lobos of Merrick Pet Care, so stick around. First up, Maura Davies of the SPCA Texas!
    Maura Davies
Maura Davies is the Vice President for Marketing & Communications at the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) of Texas.
    SPCA Texas Adoptions
Adoptions for animals are back in person! However, to adopt a dog, cat, or even horse, you need an appointment! Check out SPCA website, and be sure to read up on their guidelines if a beautiful furry soul catches your eye! There was a recent TikTok showing how beautiful animal sounds can be, and why you should adopt in pairs if you can! Click here to watch, but keep a tissue near! Open your heart and your hearth to a cat or dog this winter. Whether you celebrate, Christmas,, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, a homeless animal doesn't mind. They want family time, just like we do!

If you are interested in Gucci the dog, Queen Vegeta the cat, or even Venus the horse, be sure to put in an application! All animals from the SPCA make beautiful lifelong companions and bring joy to each and every home.
    RuthAnn Lobos
Dr. RuthAnn Lobos is lead veterinarian for Merrick PetCare, the makers of our Furry Friday sponsor, Castor & Pollux organic and responsibly-sourced pet food. Dr. Lobos is a practicing veterinarian with more than 15 years of experience in the pet food industry. She loves sharing the power of pet nutrition with colleagues, pet parents and friends. In her undergraduate studies, Dr.RuthAnn pursued an animal science degree. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from Louisiana State University and became a certified canine rehabilitation therapist. RuthAnn is an avid marathoner and triathlete and proud mama to three active pups, Rigolets, Stella and Finn.
Festive Fall Facts For Our Furry Friends
When it gets colder outside, it actually feels colder to our pets, just like it does to us humans! Get your pet slowly acclimated to the cooler winter weather with short brisk walks through the neighborhood to get their bodies ready. Even though it's cold outside, fleas, ticks, and mosquitos still exist outside! Climate change has changed where deep seeded cold affects the world, so remember to give your furry family members their parasite medication year round. Cats can get heart worms too! While a majority of cats live inside, cats are not immune to heart worms. One heart worm in a cat can kill them, but a dog can handle a larger "worm burden" before they get sick. Do your research, but remember, like children, you know best for you animals!
    Thank You!
A big thank you to our guests, Maura Davies and Dr. RuthAnn Lobos!

  • #1368, Dave Asprey, Paleo f(x), Von Eaglin

    Happy Thursday!
Happy Thursday! Paleo f(x) is right around the corner, so don't forget to register for the November 14th event, here! At the half we have New York Times bests selling author Dave Asprey stopping by to discuss his new book! First up we have Von Eaglin, so let's get started!
    Von Eaglin
Von Eaglin is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and works with two group practices in the Dallas area. He is a certified couple relationship trainer and sees a wide range of clients addressing men’s issues, anger management, abuse, and addiction; just to name a few. He is also a doctoral candidate at the University of North Texas in the Counseling and Higher Education Department. His Ph.D. research focuses on on couple relationships dialogue. You can find him at his website or follow him on Instagram @VonTalks.
    The Emotionally Stunted Man
Whenever you are dealing with an emotionally stunted man you will never see him deal with it head on. There will be times when he is egocentric and selfish, but at the end of the day, their partners will have to do the heavy lifting in the relationship. From Von's perspcective, there are a lot of things that can make a man emotionally stunted. But to make someone who they are, Von believe that genetics play a part. The second thing that makes someone themselves, are nature vs nature. Environment and experiences change how someone sees the world. Whenever there is emotional immaturity, it manifests differently. Bernadette inquires why men seem to take being cheated on more to heart than women. Von says that men aren't as good as dealing with outward emotions.

The person who cares the least in the relationship typically has more power. Hate is addiction too, just like cocaine! Our brain hormones swirl when we are in romantic relationships, so our brain learns to want the "high!"
    Dave Asprey

Dave Asprey is the founder and Chairman of Bulletproof 360, a high performance coffee and food company, and creator of the widely popular Bulletproof Coffee. He is a three-time New York Times best selling author, host of the Webby award-winning podcast Bulletproof Radio, and has been featured on the Today show, Fox News, Nightline, CNN, and dozens more. Over the last two decades Dave, the “Father of Biohacking”, has worked with world-renowned doctors, researchers, scientists and global mavericks to uncover the latest, most innovative methods, techniques and products for enhancing mental and physical performance.

How to Lose Weight, Get Smarter and Live Your Longest, Healthiest Life with the Bulletproof Guide to Fasting
Break the rules, not the fast with world-renowned biohacker and New York Times bestselling author Dave Asprey. For more than a decade, the Bulletproof founder Dave Asprey has shared his unique point of view and expertise to help fans become the best versions of themselves. From living longer to getting smarter, maximising performance to practising mindfulness, Dave’s followers look to him for his take on the most effective techniques to become healthier and more powerful than most doctors think is possible.

Bernadette asks how fasting affects woman and men differently! Because of different hormones in men and women, fasting can make men more "hypoglybitchy" more than women! How funny! Bernadette and Dave agree that a sense of humor can make us live longer, that's why Dave is on his way to living to 180 years old!

    Thank You!

    Happy Wednesday!
Happy Wednesday! We have a great show in store for you today with celebrity chef and culinary alchemist Serena Poon on at the half! But first up, we have Paleo f(x) founders Michelle and Keith Norris talking all about the Virtual Paleo f(x) 2020. So let's get started!
    Serena Poon

Serena is a leading chef, nutritionist, and reiki master to the Hollywood elite. Her passion for curating healing and wellness programs began when creating nutritional menus for the likes of Jerry Bruckheimer, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, and Kerry Washington. Serena’s designed her own approach to health and wellness, or Culinary Alchemy, combining functional & spiritual nutrition while integrating how food affects our bodies on a physiological and physical level. Serena is a certified Reiki Master with Quantum Touch Healing and a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals. Serena has a degree from UC Berkeley and is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu’s most intense and comprehensive program, Grand Diploma. She is also the founder of “JustAddWater®”nutrient foods and supplements, “Serena Loves”, lifestyle brand and “Serena Loves TV”.

    Culinary Alchemy®
Serena says that giving this year, when so many things are out of our control, we are taken out of our comfort zones. Because we are trying to find comfort, we reach for food! What people don't realize is that food can take you back to a nourishing time where memories can flourish from your past. Everything shares a frequency or a vibration, everything is energy. Food can carry energy too! When you put good energy frequency foods back into your body, you are feeding your body energy nutrients, not just food nutrients. Bernadette says she can feel Serena's energy through the airwaves, and we can too! Serena gives a little inside information about her first professional chef job for Playboy owner, Hugh Hefner!

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Serena Reikis all her food before she cooks it! It drives source energy, light, and love to a certain place. Anyone and everyone is a great candidate for reiki!
    Michelle and Keith Norris

Keith and Michelle Norris are the founders of Paleof(x), one of the largest Paleo platforms in the world.

    Virtual Paleo f(x)
After a life ending car crash days before her 23rd birthday, Michelle and Keiths daughter Brittani was taken from them. • #1365, Bras and Boobs, Vaccine Rights

    Happy Monday!
It has been a crazy start to the show! After laughing it all off, we bring you a great show! At the half, Mary Holland is back to discuss politics and vaccines. First up, we have Autumn Warren Connolly, so let's get started!
    Autumn Warren Connolly
Autumn Connolly lives in the sky islands of Arizona with her three kiddos and animal babies. She is the creator of Anvil Traditional Healing, a company dedicated to restoring microbiome health through diet. Follow Autumn on Instagram @AnvilTraditionalHealing. Autumn is a self-taught vegan chef, a serial gardener and an avid believer and teacher of the powers of meditation.
    Bras And Boobs
Today we are talking about boobs and bras! Did you know that actually about 85 percent of women are wearing the wrong size, and haven't got any idea how to deal with it. According to new research – and contrary to popular belief from about a decade ago – wearing a bra, underwired or otherwise, does not cause breast cancer. Wearing a bra can alter your circadian rhythm! When you take your bra off at night, it is a signal to you body to relax and get ready to bed! One study found that found that women who never wore bras had nipples on average seven millimeters higher in relation to their shoulders each year than regular bra users. When we wear a bra, our breast muscles learn that the bra will be there to hold the breasts up, therefor letting the breast muscles atrophy.

Autumn's children recently ate their first steak and her and Bernadette have a lot of thoughts! Autumn says that regardless if you are vegan or not, how you eat should be kind. If Autumn's children want a snack, they know to ask for something that comes from nature. After budgeting, Autumn thought that a locally sourced steak was a great source of B vitamins for her and her children. Acknowledge nature! From steaks to thyme plants, nature has bestowed upon us many gifts.
    Mary Holland
Mary Holland serves as General Counsel and Vice Chair of the board at Children’s Health Defense. She recently left the faculty of the New York University School of Law where she served for 17 years, most recently directing its Graduate Lawyering Program. Mary received her Master of Arts and Juris Doctor Degrees from Columbia University, and her undergraduate degree from Harvard. She has worked in international public and private law. Mary is the co-author of “Vaccine Epidemic” and “The HPV Vaccine on Trial: Seeking Justice for a Generation Betrayed”.
What Does This Election Mean For Vaccine Rights?
The presidential race is still up in the air, but what does that mean for vaccine rights? President Trump poured 9 billon dollars into developing a COVID-19 vaccine. Mary Holland and Bernadette agree that nothing good comes from something rushed. Mary Holland reports that animal trials were skipped when developing this COVID-19 vaccine, and that is also a huge sign that our health is not the priority! Dr. Anthony Fauci has recently offered a 2021 forecast on COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Fauci's company is pushing Moderna that is personally funding him, that will be pushing vaccines into the pentagon and potentially our Army forces, sources report. Mary Holland warns US citizens to beware of this.

  • #1364, Victor Flores, Vegan Outreach, Amy McNutt

    Happy Friday!
Texas Veggie Fair has come to an end, but boy did we have fun! Even Junior learned a lot about veganism and vegan food, literature, legislation, and film! We have a great show in store for you today with Spiral Diner owner Amy McNutt at the half! First up, we have Victor Flores from Vegan Outreach, so let's get started!
    Victor Flores

Victor is the online and community outreach specialist for Vegan Outreach, a global non-profit organization working to end violence against animals. As the community outreach specialist, he has hosted many vegan themed events in New Mexico, has helped launch 10 Weeks to Vegan en Español and manages the Vegan Food Aid Program in Albuquerque, helping undocumented families and the Navajo Nation. Victor, his partner Karla and their children are a vegan family of six. They love working together promoting vegan events and most recently opened Root 66, a vegan food truck based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Victor also co-founded CampV, an all vegan summer camp for kids; La Raza Vegana, a Facebook page dedicated to vegan topics in Spanish and the Plant Powered Pop-up Market.

    Vegan Outreach
Vegan Outreach's main goal is to end violence to animals and to stop using animals for our advancement. Reaching out to people, exposing animal cruelty, and educating people is the big thing that Vegan Outreach does! Because of his partner, Karla, Victor went vegan! Karla began volunteering with Vegan Outreach, and that led to a beautiful relationship between Victor and Karla, as well as new people and veganism. Victor said if he would have been exposed to vegan education sooner, that he would have become vegan a lot sooner. Finding foods that he already ate made it east for Victor. Food is an activism tool, so take your friends and family members to vegan restaurants! Show them how great everything tastes.

Want to try vegan? Don't know where to start? 10 weeks to vegan is a program provided by Vegan Outreach that aids vegan-curious people through a program that educates others as to how easy and delicious it is to become vegan! Sign up for the program here!
    Amy McNutt

Amy McNutt is the founder of Spiral Diner and Bakery, opened in 2002 out of her love for animals and the environment. As one of the most unusual success stories in the restaurant world, Spiral Diner continues to thrive today with three locations and a production kitchen. Her goal is to show how we can enjoy the great flavors of comfort food without using animals. Married to James Johnston since 2003, they happily live in Fort Worth with their three rescue bunnies and two cats.

    Spiral Diner and Bakery
Amy says that her extreme optimism was part of the reason she decided to open up an all Vegan diner! To her luck, there were people who craved homestyle food but made vegan. At a young age, Amy decided she really loved animals and didn't want to do anything to hurt them. At age 12-13, she became vegetarian with her family's support. Amy said she thought she needed to eat a lot of milk and eggs to maintain enough protein in her vegetarian diet. Walking down Venice beach, she was handed a PETA flyer about dairy production, and then and there her mind was made up. She went on to research on her own and made the decision to go 100% vegan that ultimately changed her life!

Check out any of the three Spiral Diner locations in the Dallas Ft Worth area to grab a meal that you won't regret! Our personal favorite is the Patty Melt that rivals the Texas chain's meat filled one...

  • #1363, Vegan 101, Andy Tabar, Katherine Lawrence-Ireland

    Happy Thursday!
Junior and Bernadette are so excited to get right to it! We have a great show in store for you all today with Katherine Lawrence-Ireland at the half speaking about how "Food Saved Me." First up we have Andy Tabar, founder of Compassion Co! Today we will be talking about Vegan 101 and Vegan Film, so let's get started!
    Andy Tabar

Andy has been living a fully nomadic life in his van for the past five years and under normal circumstances spends his time travel- ing the country from Vegfest to Vegfest promoting Compassion Co, an organic, USA made, sweat shop free, vegan clothing line. Compassion Co specializes in fun and slightly snarky designs that are created to help activists spark productive conversations. For the past five years Andy has also co-hosted The Bearded Vegans, a weekly podcast featuring a dissection of all things vegan.
Vegan 101 And Andy's Top 5 Vegan Movie Countdown
Veganism can muddle the true definition of veganism. To Andy, veganism is the ideology that all living things have the right to be respected. It's the golden rule! Katherine Lawrence-Ireland

Katherine Lawrence-Ireland is a former aerospace engineer and military veteran. While working in aerospace, she was diagnosed with stage 4 endo- metriosis, ovarian cysts and uterine cysts. Her case was so aggressive, she was told she would be completely infertile and needed a full hysterectomy. Katherine started working with a nutritionist who helped her transition to a whole food, plant-based diet. Within six months she re- versed her reproductive problem and lowered her cholesterol and blood pressure to normal levels. She now has three healthy, vegan boys despite her doctor’s prognosis of infertility. This new awareness of the healing power of food sparked an obsession in Katherine to want to share her knowledge with others. She founded Food Saved Me with her husband Mathew, offering whole-food, plant-based cooking classes completely FREE to the community.

    Food Saved Me
After Katherine was told at 27 years old that she could not have children due to severe endometriosis, ovarian and uterine cysts, and being overweight, she lost all hope. It wasn't untill Katherine's mother dragged her to the nutritionist that she discovered that her diagnosis was reversible. 3 healthy children later, Katherine now has dedicated her life to teaching others that food can save their life, just as it saved hers. You have a lot more control over your health than you believe. Choose good foods that support your health and avoid foods that contain bad things like preservatives, cheap oils, and genetically modified additions. Diet affects our health in every way. It has a very powerful affect on our immune system too, so remember to eat well!
Join Katherine Lawrence via ZOOM for a Vegan Holiday Cooking Class on November 18th at 7-8 PM CST! She will be making delicious,
