Next we have John Mercer from Café Momentum, a nationally-recognized nonprofit restaurant and professional training facility in the heart of downtown Dallas, which provides a 12-month paid post-release internship program for young men and women exiting juvenile detention. John has worked with Jamey from Texas Veggie Fair for years. He walks us through the program which covers everything needed to run a restaurant. Kids going through the program work in the bakery, kitchen, front-of-house, bus tables and do dishes. Through the program the kids learn skills they can use later in life. Listen to the podcast to hear some of John’s favorite stories from his years working at Café Momentum. And, visit the website to see the menu and their hours. Stacy cites the popularity of the Tiger King documentary is bringing to light the cruelty involved in domesticating exotic animals, which is totally legal in Texas.  When asked what the most pressing issue is right now in Texas, Stacy talks about the homeless pet population and the importance of adoption. If everyone would adopt rather than buy their pets, the stray population would be dramatically decreased.

  • #1360, Ingrid Newkirk, Jamey Scott, Texas Veggie Fair

    Happy Monday!
It is the start of The Texas Veggie Fair, On The Air! We are so excited to bring you a week long event on the air with all things vegan! Today we have Jamey Scott, founder of The Texas Veggie Fair, on at the half! First up, we have founder of PETA, Ingrid Newkirk, so let's get started!
    Ingrid Newkirk

Ingrid Newkirk is the president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 6.5 million members and supporters worldwide. She is the author of more than a dozen books that have been translated into several languages, including her latest, Animalkind: Remarkable Discoveries About Animals and Revolutionary New Ways to Show Them Compassion. PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: in laboratories, on factory farms, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry.
    Sponsor A Doghouse
Before we dive into everything Vegan, we have Ingrid Newkirk and Bernadette discussing animals being locked outside during the cold winter months. Click here to purchase a dog house for an at risk dog. Dogs left outdoors are often chained or penned without adequate shelter and suffer terribly. Our goal is to educate guardians about good animal care, especially the basic notion of allowing dogs to live indoors as members of the family. Unfortunately, changing attitudes takes time. When people insist on keeping their dogs outside and refuse to relinquish them, PETA works to improve the dogs' lives.

Going Vegan Is Easier Than You Think
Ingrid says it is the perfect time to go Vegan. Vegan foods lower your blood pressure, which is something that we all need right now in this political climate! Why go vegan? The better question is why wouldn't you? There may have been a time of survivalism where we needed animal proteins, but we don't need it now. With the influx of vegan cheeses, milks, egg substitutes, and meats, there is no excuse anymore! Vegan food is everywhere. Ingrid says when she goes out to share meals with her friends, she sees that their side dish is a pill bottle because of subsequent health problems. Go vegan for yourself, your kids, and your family. The average vegan lives 7 years longer than the carnivore, so you decide what's better!

Ingrid talks about lamb's wool and how cruel it is. In Australia, the most commonly raised sheep are merinos, specifically bred to have wrinkly skin, which means more wool per animal. This unnatural overload of wool causes animals to die of heat exhaustion during hot months. Attracted to the moisture, flies lay eggs in the folds of skin, and the hatched maggots can eat the sheep alive. To prevent this so-called “flystrike,” Australian ranchers perform a barbaric operation—mulesing—or carving huge strips of flesh off the backs of lambs’ legs and around their tails. Please cast wool aside!
    Jamey Scott

Jamey Scott is the founder of DallasVegan.com, Dallas Vegan Drinks, and the Texas Veggie Fair, all of which are major contributors to the thriving vegan community in Dallas, TX. He has received multiple awards for community leadership, including The Pollination Project’s Unsung Hero Award for his work in “veganizing” Dallas.

Texas Veggie Fair On The Air
The Texas Veggie Fair began in 2010! It all started with an idea Jamey Scott had during the "fair and festival" times in Texas. He thought that Dallas restaurants were doing better with offering vegan dishes, but festivals and fairs rarely have vegan options. Jamey was not always vegan!

  • #1359, Dr. Jonny Bowden, Maura Davies, Furry Friday

    Happy Furry Friday!
Halloween is almost here! Junior’s children are ready to trick or treat, and Bernadette is ready to hand out some treats! At the half we have Furry Friday Veteran Maura Davies! But first up, we have Dr. Jonny Bowden talking about listening to your gut, so let’s get started!

    Dr. Jonny Bowden
Dr. Jonny earned six certifications in personal training and fitness. Jonny Bowden is known as The Nutrition Myth Buster and is a nationally known expert on weight loss and health. He is the best-selling author of 15 books, including “The Great Cholesterol Myth” and “The Most Effective Ways to Live Longer.” He has a Masters degree in psychology, a PhD in holistic nutrition, and is board certified by the American College of Nutrition. His books include “Living Low Carb,” “Smart Fat,” “The Great Cholesterol Myth” and “The 150 Healthiest Foods On Earth.”

Information Overload: Low To Listen To Your Gut And Not The Media
How do we make sense of all the information swirling around? Dr. Jonny Bowden is here to help us! Humans are actually inherently pretty good at making decisions. We needs to trust ourselves to filter all the swirling information and make the best choices for our individual selves. We need to go back to what we ate at the beginning of the human ages! Meats, vegetables, minimally processed foods in their natural state! Dr. Jonny says to not be afraid of foods with “high” cholesterol. Eat whole foods as they come! Bernadette thinks we have over complicated food. As a country that is obsessed with diet; we are so convoluted when it comes deciding what is good to eat.

As far as COVID goes, we have to talk about it! Diabetic, Obese, and immune-compromised people are the most threatened when COVID strikes. The prime risk factor for heart disease that you can catch early is insulin problems! 100g of carbohydrates looks differently. A piece of bread could be 20 grams. An apple could be 8, but the apple contains fiber! The average American eats over 300 grams of carbohydrates a day! Your body responds to carbohydrates with the hormone insulin. Eat real foods! If Dr. Jonny could leave us with one piece of information, it would be to eat real, raw foods.
    Maura Davies
Maura Davies is the Vice President for Marketing & Communications at the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) of Texas. As a longtime friend of One Life Radio, Maura is with us almost every Friday!
Celebrating Halloween With The SPCA Texas
Bernadette asks if Maura believes that animals can stay around in this world before going into the afterlife to rest their souls. Maura says that after her sweet big boy cat passed away in February, she felt his weight and presence linger for a few weeks after his physical passing. Bernadette asks about pet mediums! Maura believes that there is definitely something there when it comes to animal ghosts. Maura is sharing some spooky family stories today! How fun!

Keep your dangerous decorations away from your pets! Make sure that your cords and chewable halloween decorations are out of reach from your pets! Keep all chocolate, raisins, and alcohol put away, because all of those are very dangerous to animals! Make sure your pets have updated tags incase they get separated from you! Get your animals microchiped because accidents happen.
    Thank You!
A big thank you to our guests, Maura Davies and Dr. Jonny Bowden! To donate to the SPCA Texas, Click Here. Every little amount makes such a difference! If you would like to purchase any of Dr. Jonny’s books, click here.

  • #1358, Denna Babul, Jackie Schlegel

    Happy Thursday!
Oklahoma had an ice storm! Bernadette didn't know, but Junior saw that the storm's name was Billie! Coincidence? We don't know! We have a great show in store for you today with Jackie Schlegel on at the half with everything we need to know about vaccine choice before we Election Day! First up, we have author Denna Babul talking about politics and relationships, so let's get started!
    Jackie Schlegel
Jackie is the Executive Director for Texans for Vaccine Choice. In 2015, when legislators were led astray and filed oppressive bills that would take away parental rights and vaccine choice, Jackie Schlegel stepped up to the plate, said not on my watch. She threw her hat into the political arena. In just four short years, she took a group of passionate moms and turned it into the epitome of grassroots activism. They’ve set an unprecedented standard for the nation and even drawing worldwide attention.

That fledging group of 20 is now a political action committee and educational foundation, with over 30,000 social media followers as well as 12,000+ official members who proudly align themselves with Texans for Vaccine Choice. Thanks to Jackie’s endless energy and passion, this group is organized with local branches, core members, and team leaders impact- ing their schools, their communities, and their legislators. Her unshakeable dedication inspires all members to have a laser focus on their mission of protecting and advancing informed con- sent, medical privacy, and vaccine choice.
What Voters Need To Know About Vaccine Choice Before Election Day
You are not alone. We are not alone! This is not a small group of people taking on the biggest big Pharma money maker ever. You have the right to ask the questions about your health! COVID has changed the vaccine conversation. Across the board, both left and right have questions about a COVID vaccine. The big question is that if it is going to be mandated. Jackie doesn't want to separate this conversation between conservative and liberal. Jackie encourages everyone to learn about every stance your candidate takes! There is no one on the planet who loves your child more than you. You can your child's best interest at heart. You have rights! Texas For Vaccine Choice is here to support you no whether what your decision in when it comes to vaccines. We need more science, we need more research.

    Denna Babul
Denna Babul is a relationship expert, author, TV personality and public speaker. She is the Founder of the Fatherless Daughter Movement, and an award-winning author of “The Fatherless Daughter Project: Understanding Our Losses and Reclaiming Our Lives.” In Denna’s latest book “Love Strong: Change Your Narrative, Change Your Life, and Take Your Power Back!” she uses her years of experience as a relationship coach and her personal experience to give people with relationship dilemmas a guide to taking their power back. Through her work, Denna has helped thousands of clients get the love they want.
Are Relationships And Politics A Healthy Match?
We need Denna's help right now! Politics are playing such a large role in relationships. Look any your intentions when discussing politics. Do you want to cause a fight and make someone choose? Do you want to debate? Go into it with intentions. Bernadette brings up a personal problem with a friend and who is voting for who. Denna Babul says that the person who gives their friend an ultimatum probably has attachment issues. Core beliefs are what we are. What makes us sit on a rocking chair with someone else in out 80's is if we respect each other beliefs.

Have a safety word or a gesture! Denna says she knows a couple that when things are getting too heated, they say a word and begin to slow dance to bring the emotions down.

  • #1357, Leda Blas, Steven Schwartz, COVID Corner

    Happy Thursday!
It's been a crazy morning, but it is nothing that Team One Life Radio can't handle! Junior is in a great mood, Bernadette is too, and we hope we can change your mood too! Leda Blas is here to tell us all about workouts to get us ready for the holidays, and Dr. Steven Schwartz is back with another COVID update from STS Health, so let's get started!
    Leda Blas

Leda is a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist with over 30 years in the Fitness Industry. She was one of the First Trainers tobeCertifiedasaBodyPump Instructor in the US. She specializes in Corrective Exercise and Group Fitness. Leda and her husband Tom started B&D by Tom & Leda, offering 1-on-1, Group Training, Kids Classes and Self Defense Seminars for all Ages.

Workouts To Get You Ready For The Holidays
Stay away from your kids halloween candy! We as parents are often guilty of checking to see if our child's candy is "poisonous" and before you know it you have eaten a whole handful of fun sized treats! Balance is key! Don't overdo it, but try it! Small portion sizes are important. You can't out exercise a bad diet, like Tina says! Instead of reaching for a piece of pecan pie the days after Thanksgiving, reach for a protein shake! It is easy to get distracted by all the sweets around the holidays, but your waistline will thank you in January!

Leda talks about self defense training and how cathartic it can be! Leda says that a lot of women want to beat something up, but don't want to cause pain and hurt. Self defense training is great for that! You can beat something up and then go home and feel the stress melted off! Steer clear of fats and oils! Bake your meats, like chicken. Eat lots of vegetables! You don't need the rich casseroles and sides! You only need a strong will and a plate full of veggies and protein.
    Dr. Steven Schwartz
Dr. Steve Schwartz is a recognized physician, researcher, inventor and entrepreneur. He is currently the day hospitalist at a U.S. military hospital in the Midwest, overseeing patient care, teaching, research, and leadership. He is also the Chief Medical Officer of Flutrends International and STS Health. Dr. Schwartz has patented two holistic health formulations to combat multiple strains of influenza, the common cold and multiple allergies – FluNada and Air-Vita. You can find both of these products on amazon.com and at major drugstore chains. Visit STS Health for more information.
    COVID Corner
Dr. Schwartz wants us to know the difference between masks and respirators. Respirators are designed to help reduce the wearer’s respiratory exposure to airborne contaminants such as particles, gases, or vapours. Surgical masks are a barrier to splashes, droplets, and spit.Respirators protect from exposure to airborne particles. In healthcare, protects from exposure to biological aerosols including viruses and bacteria.

Zinc is important for preventing COVID. When you buy cough drops, buy the ones with Zinc in them! Shellfish, Legumes, and Seeds are all chocked full of zinc, and make for tasty supplements! If you have COVID and are quarantining at home, you have one chance to get your immune system in total order! If you are diabetic, stop the sweets. Make sure yo get Zinc, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, and Selenium. Follow your body patterns! If you get sleepy in the afternoon, take a nap. Trust your body and what it is telling you.
    Thank You!
A big thank you to our guests, Dr. Steven Schwartz and Leda Blas. Follow Leda son instrgram @ledablas for self defense videos in action!

  • #1356, Del Bigtree, Bonnie Cook

    Happy Tuesday!
Junior had a bit of stressful morning with having to get gas before work, so he says get gas the night before! Don't put it off! We have a great show in store today with Bonnie Cook talking about mental health, and Del Bigtree on at the half talking abut vaccines and censorship, so stick around!
    Bonnie Cook
Bonnie is the CEO & President of Mental Health America of Greater Dallas. Prior to assuming this role in April, 2018 she was the executive director of Mental Health America of Kentucky. Bonnie has over 17 years experience working in the mental health field. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Mental Health America in Alexandria, Virginia.
    988 Mental Health Line
Bernadette asks if the 988 number is confidential, Bonnie says absolutely. The 988 number makes it easy to connect with the national suicide hotline number! It is much easier to remember 988 than to remember a whole 10 digit phone number. The police will only be called situationally. Some people just need someone to talk to. A little conversation can make the difference between someone committing suicide, and someone taking a breath and reaching out further. There is a death by suicide about every 11 minutes, how sad. This new 988 number is a game changer! The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has formally designated 988 as a nationwide 3-digit number for mental health crisis and suicide prevention services.

988 is not currently active. If you are experiencing a crisis, text “NAMI” to 741741 or call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
    Del Bigtree
Del Bigtree is one of the preeminent voices for the Vaccine Risk Awareness Movement. His career as an Emmy winning producer of the CBS talk show “The Doctors” changed profoundly when he produced the documentary “VAXXED.” VAXXED is credited with igniting a revolution against Pharmaceutical Tyranny around the world. Now, Del’s internet talk show, “The High Wire,” is the fastest growing program in the Natural Health arena! “The High Wire” has over 40 million views. His non-profit, ICANdecide.org, is leading worldwide investigations into drug and vaccine fraud.  His investigations have already resulted in two winning lawsuits against US Government agencies. Health and Human Services and National Institute of Health. Del is probably best known for his powerful speeches that weave shocking truth, searing wit, and dynamic passion into an experience that is often described as electrifying.
    Vaccines and Censorship
We live in a world where we are not able to have a thought that goes against mainstream media. Mainstream media is owned by big Pharma by up to 70%! Del wants us to know that the coronavirus vaccine may be the most dangerous vaccine every created. Del says that the animal trials with prior SARS and coronavirus viruses have gone completely south. There is not any silver bullet that is going to help us fight the virus overnight. Del advises against a vaccine that will turn our realties upside down more than they already are.  We can't write a lot about this broadcast, but we can tell you to listen.

Putting the words “Rush”and “Science” together creates problems. Science can not be rushed. With the COVID-19 Vaccine, we are skipping animal trials and going straight to human trials. We end the show with a quote from one of our founding Father’s. “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
    Thank You!

  • #1355, Autumn Connolly, Hospice Care

    Happy Monday!
Bernadette and Junior are excited that the weekend is over and for the week to get ready to start! After talking about weather and climate differences between Arizona and Texas, we are ready to start the show! We have Autumn Warren Connolly the full hour talking about hospice care, so let's get started!
    Autumn Warren Connolly
Autumn Connolly lives in the sky islands of Arizona with her three kiddos and animal babies. She is the creator of Anvil Traditional Healing, a company dedicated to restoring microbiome health through diet. Follow Autumn on Instagram @AnvilTraditionalHealing. Autumn is a self-taught vegan chef, a serial gardener and an avid believer and teacher of the powers of meditation.
    Being In Hospice Care
Hospice care can be very interesting! Hospice care is so rewarding. We often forget about our oldest and most vulnerable in this country. Hospice care offers emotional support that these people would otherwise never get. It is a give and take. Being there for someone when they decide to pass is a beautiful thing. Hospice care is not always death though. Hospice care is a type of health care that focuses on the palliation of a terminally ill patient's pain and symptoms and attending to their emotional and spiritual needs at the end of life. Bernadette and Autumn swap stories about how listening is important, but how old men seem to never forget about sex too!

Hospice is not just for people with cancer! Hospice care is for a wide range of people who have decided to no longer pursue a cure for their illness, and instead seek comfort, symptom management and quality of life. These patients have life-limiting illnesses such as end-stage heart, lung or renal disease; dementia; ALS; stroke, and neurological disorders, among others. Only 35 percent of our patients have a cancer diagnosis.

There are so many people suffering behind closed doors that never get human interaction. When you do something Nobel and selfless, you get it back tenfold.
    Halloween Treats
Feed your kiddos healthy, whole foods around halloween! Offer some real food and eat it too! Involve your children in the kitchen with you and make them a part of the festivities. You can make treats fun without consuming a ton of processed sugar.
    Thank You!
A big thank you to our guest Autumn Warren Connolly! Autumn is the founder and creator of Anvil Traditional Healing, a company where she strives to create healthy, plant based, products that help our bodies form the inside out! You can nurture with nature! Autumn even has a live horse probiotic now, how cool!

    Happy Furry Friday!

As the leader and maker of America’s #1 organic pet food, Castor & Pollux has set a new standard with the most comprehensive portfolio of purposeful pet food. We have Marc Peralta of Best Friends Animal Society and Author Brad Aronson! But first up, we have Maura Davies of The SPCA Texas, so lets get started!
    Maura Davies
Maura Davies is the Vice President for Marketing & Communications at the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) of Texas. As a longtime friend of One Life Radio, Maura is with us almost every Friday!

Bundle up your pets! It’s cold outside now in DFW, so don’t forget to get a dog sweater, and a human sweater too! Dog treats can be dangerous, so be aware. Be aware of treats made in China. If you see that your dog treat us made in China, look at the ingredients! The USDA doesn’t have jurisdiction over foreign import dog treats. A lot of people give their animals bones, but some bones can splinter and choke and kill your pets. Cooked beef bones can be fine, but raw or cooked chicken bones can kill. The danger behind raw bones is a potential for e-coli, salmonella, and hysteria. Some treats are too hard and they can break your dog’s teeth! Look out for dyes in your pets treats, especially around the holidays.
    Marc Peralta
Marc Peralta is the Senior Director of National Mission Advancement for Best Friends Animal Society. Best Friends is a leading national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters. In addition to running lifesaving programs in partnership with nearly 3,000 animal welfare groups, Best Friends has regional centers across the country and operate the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals. Prior to joining Best Friends, Marc served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as interim CEO for the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

It's PitBull Awareness month! PitBull is not a real breed, but more of a frame of reference for a certain type and look of dog. Pit bull is a term used in the United States for a type of dog descended from bulldogs and terriers, while in other countries such as the United Kingdom the term is used as an abbreviation of the American Pit Bull Terrier breed. They do not have locking jaws. This is a myth! They are not inherently aggressive dogs. In fact, in temperance tests, Pit Bulls were the second most tolerant breed behind Golden Retrievers. The least tolerant was the Chihuahua.

Reports of Pit Bulls attacking people and the prominence of the breed among dog fighting circles has added to the fear and misperceptions about these lovable and adoptable dogs. The fact is that all dogs can attack, and that is almost always a result of bad human ownership. Any dog who has been abandoned, abused, neglected or trained to attack can grow up to exhibit aggressive behavior; it’s not intrinsic to Pit Bulls or any other breed.

    Happy Thursday!
Junior is back and while we loved having Krystina, we love working with Junior! Boy it has been a stressful week, but we are hoping for the weekend! We have a great show today with Dr. Neal Barnard and Dr. Lori Whatley, so let's get started!
    Dr. Neal Barnard

Dr. Barnard is president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a faculty member of the George Washington University School of Medicine, and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. In 2016, he founded Barnard Medical Center in Washington, DC, to create a new model that integrates nutrition into conventional medical care. His federally funded diabetes research revolutionized the nutritional approaches to Type 2 Diabetes, and he now aims to empower readers with life-changing in- formation on hormones and health. His  latest book is “Your Body in Balance: The New Science of Foods, Hor- mones, and Health”.
    Foods That Tackle Hormone-Related Issues
Bernadette asks which foods reek the most havoc on your hormones! If you are having hot flashes all day long, thyroid issues, weight fluctuations, or more, you have hormone issues! Estrogen, insulin, and others can misbehave and cause havoc. Get your food consumption in gear! Foods are central to the thyroid. Thyroid problems can be absolutely corrected by the foods that we eat. Before Morten salt started making their salt iodized, people were iodine deficient. Now, people are using sea salt and Himalayan salt, instead of iodized salt! You do not see iodine deficiency in Japan! Japan uses very iodine centric ingredients in a lot of their dishes. How interesting!

Bernadette asks about men taking testosterone anti bringing out the worst in then. Bernadette says the person who she ran in to was all red and visibly angry. He had just started re-taking testosterone, and Bern could tell! Dr. Neal Barnard agrees with Bernadette, than testosterone should be used very rarely or barely at all.

    Dr. Lori Whatley
Dr. Lori Whatley is a clinical psychologist and relational therapist who specializes in the effects of excessive digital device usage. Dr. Whatley has over 25 years of clinical experience and has specialized in digital device usage for the past 10 years. Her latest book “Connected & Engaged: How to Manage Digital Distractions and Reconnect with the World Around You” takes a look at the toll excessive digital device usage has on our lives—and what we can do about it.

How Do We Teach Our Children Morality When the Media Does the Opposite?
We have to be proactive on what our children are watching! Garbage in, Garbage out. Based on Dr. Lori Whatley's research, she has found that we need to be more careful on what we expose our children to! Bernadette points out that the artwork on dolls and toys for children are becoming more tasteless, and scantily clad. It is okay for you to not let Hollywood and designers to control your own set of ethics and morals. Dr. Lori says balance is significant in well being. Children need to learn how to interact in real life situations and how to talk to other humans and adults. When your child is behind a screen, they aren't learning how to effectively communicate.

We need to teach our children to ask questions in order to raise smart children. Children need to know how to ask effective questions, in order to get proper answers. Bernadette asks about media being so political and the lack of difference between opinions and facts. Turn it off it it becomes too much for your own morals, it's okay!

Free Weights And Why Balance Is So Important
Balance training is just performing exercises that help improve your awareness of the movement of your body. Having incredible balance can help you avoid injuries! Training with free weights is so much better for the body than a machine because free weights have you engage your abs and balance your body weight. Yesterday, Tina had Bernadette doing an exercise where she stepped up to find her balance while engaging her abs and hip flexors. It was difficult! Tina always makes her clients do the exercises that they don't like. If you don't like it, you probably need to do it more! Balance training increases body awareness, and your coordination can be learned!

A lot of people are not good at activating their muscles, so that's why they need balance training! Neural adaptation is when the brain learns how to activate a certain muscle or muscle group. Once you get neural adaptation, you can get stronger! All your muscles are knit together. You can't have good posture if you don't have strong glutes and abs. Repetition is the key to success, so don't forget to train the muscles that stabilize your spine.

Eva has been in business for over a year and half, and has found that so many people live day to day with pain and illness in their body. Bernadette asks about acne! Eva says that acne is directly related to inflammation in the gut microbiome. When our gut microbiome is sick, we give our bodies free reign to become sick. Dairy can be bad for us! The dairy that you find in the stores are riddled with antibiotics. If the cow who makes your milk is sick, then your milk will be tainted too. Antibiotics just fatten up the cows, and if we consume the animal products we get the antibiotics in our bodies too!

Bernadette asks if poor sleep is connected to poor diet. Eva says she gets so many clients complaining about poor sleep and feeling like they need to sleep during the week. Add more vegetables, legumes, and seeds to your diet! Bernadette talks about her father respecting the plants that the earth forged for us.
