Adrienne Shelly was an independent film maker in the 1990's. She worked extremely hard and found her groove writing and directing. So why, as her film The Waitress (THAT BROADWAY PLAY) was being accepted to Sundance, would she hang herself? Because she was found hanging from her shower rod right before Sundance accepted her film. However, did she really hang herself? Her family fought against that, not able to accept it, and uncovered some additional information.
