  • EPISODE 6: How self experimentation changes the game! (Utilize your self to gain new tools)
In this episode we discuss how self experimentation changes the game. How trying something new with recordable measurable results over a specific time frame can open up new worlds for those involved. I share a little about areas I have experimented and a little about what not to do. We are approaching the end of season one and I’m excited to continue this experiment. As always a review on iTunes is greatly appreciated or grabbing a follow on Instagram. Thank you for your ears this week.

  • Episode 5.5. My review of Nike, No Bull and Reebok on this Shoecast
Today we took a break from the traditional podcast to talk about something i love. SHOES! The shoes I review here are all amazing shoes and the proof is my shoe rack. So yes I am bias. However, I’m constantly asked my opinion on what shoes to buy and I thought I’d just drop some knowledge right here in the show as an offshoot episode. Hope you enjoy.

  • EPISODE 5: 6 principles to effective Co-Parenting
6 principles of Co-Parenting. As 2018 concludes we are faced with a holiday season that has many children being divided between households. Multiple families between both parents. It’s easy to want your children with you. It’s easy to insult the other parent when angry. What is hard and difficult is to build a co-parenting situation where the children win. Over the last nine years my ex and I have worked extremely hard to give our children a winning environment. Today I share with you 6 principles of co-parenting that have been a foundation to my situation. No. I am not an expert. However, I believe we have done well. I believe we can continue to improve and I believe everyone should care so much that they work hard to show up for their children in every way possible. Yes that means figuring out how to get along with someone that you clearly no longer were able to get along with. Take a listen in to get the 6 principles of co-parenting. Also, I would love your feedback. Shoot me a DM on Instagram @mathewfreeman an email at [email protected] or find me on Facebook as Matt freeman or my business page Mathew Freeman Fitness. Thank you so much for listening in. Until next time.

  • EPISODE 4: The dangers of labels. Good vs. bad, right vs wrong are pictures we paint unnecessarily.
The dangers of labels. Good vs. bad, right vs. wrong, successful vs. failure, black vs. white can really limit your thinking and pigeon hole you unnecessarily. The goal of today is to explore why we have to make meaning or classify so many things. The mere existence of categories, subcategories and additional categories should be evidence that we cannot narrow it down to one. Today we are simply starting the conversation.

  • EPISODE 3: Why is nutrition so darn confusing?
It’s impossible for me to fit nutrition into a 20 minute episode so this may sound a lot like an all over the place scramble on ideas but it really is meant to just get you thinking about where to start. Nutrition is confusing. There are so many ways to dig into it. It’s so different and unique for every individual. So really if you just start with 1) eliminating processed foods 2) eating locally grown foods 3) eating slowly 4) making sure you have protein carb and fat plus vegetables on your plate 5) getting in your water your off to a great start.

  • Episode 2: The Famous Last Words don’t have to be Famous
In this episode I give you a little background of where I was born who I was born to my family and the last words that I heard from my father and what that impact was on me. I then dive in a little bit about how I overcame what I heard. I did this episode because I think so many of us are stuck on a singular event that occurred with someone we care about that we cannot let go of or that we just don’t have the correct perspective on.

  • EPISODE 1: Why, what, and who. A look into how the Mathew Freeman Show came to push play.
Episode 1: Introduction and Why I chose to start a podcast. In this episode I discuss all the reasons I chose to finally press record. I discuss how I hope to walk shoulder to shoulder alongside my listeners on daily life situations that need remedy. My way of creating remedies to these situations is through creating positive habits. Positive habits that over time yield amazing dividends. Through my struggles I’ve gained perspective on so many situations such as losing everything or what was perceived as everything. Divorce, death, rejection, having money and being broke. The list is like yours and different at the same time. No greater. No less. This podcast discusses my promise to be always real, raw and unedited because I want you to hear exactly what happens in every conversation, monologue or episode. This was a look into my fear to hit publish and do so anyway. I hope to enjoy a great future together right now in the present.
