Online Patient Payments Are Appreciated Regardless of Demographic

The healow suite of apps from eClinicalWorks opens up many common healthcare tasks to patients. In our recent video interview at the eClinicalWorks Enterprise Summit, Ben Broseke, IT Director at Orthopaedic Institute of Ohio, Inc., describes the dramatic improvements in payments they go by deploying healow Pay.

healow Pay is an online payments service that enables patients to pay their bill quickly online. The Orthopaedic Institute of Ohio has saved about 25% in costs by using healow Pay in place of paper billing, although some patients still prefer paper.

While many wonder if online payments will work with their older population, the online services turned out to be popular across all demographics, including older patients. Broseke didn't see any demographic issues with patients being able to pay online.
