Class is in session… and this MIL is doing entirely too much.

Her husband is the only one of five siblings still dealing with his mother, and the reason becomes real clear, real fast. We’re talking favoritism between the kids, manipulation, lying, triangulating, and trying to get around boundaries by asking one spouse after the other says no.

But then it gets darker.

This woman allegedly told her son to hide his wife’s glasses so she couldn’t leave. Then suggested moving the baby’s car seat so she couldn’t take their daughter. And when that still wasn’t enough, she started feeding him lies about his wife behind her back.

The husband tells his wife everything and says he supports her… but he still won’t give his mother any real consequences.

So now the question is not whether the MIL is the problem. She is.

The real question is: if your spouse sees the sabotage and still keeps the door open, who’s actually failing the marriage?

Yeah. We had a lot to say about this one.

What starts as a funny story about a girl begging for a diary turns into a whole mess when her mama discovers the pages are full of made-up drama from some fast girl at school 😭

But then the second story completely takes over class…

A woman tells the story of her first sleepover, where one of the girls, who was only 12 years old, secretly called her 18-year-old boyfriend to the house. He shows up, eats all the food, and now the girls are scrambling to keep this grown man hidden from the storyteller’s mother.

Class is in session… and this one feels small at first, but it’s actually not small at all.

This couple just moved into a new apartment. No groceries yet, no food in the house, and to make things worse, her purse was stolen so she literally has no access to her money.

So when her fiancé asks what they should eat, she suggests something cheap and quick.

His response?

“Okay, go get it.”

She reminds him she has no money… and he just says she’ll have to figure something else out.

Then it gets worse.

He leaves, comes back with food for himself, puts it away, tells her it’s not for her, and goes into the bedroom to eat while she sits there with nothing.

No offer to share. No concern. No problem in his mind.

She ends up crying, calling a friend just to get something to eat… and he calls her dramatic.

So now the real question is… is this just a bad night?

Or is this exactly who you’re about to marry?

Because letting your partner struggle right in front of you and choosing not to help… that says a lot more than people think.
