This is an interview with Coach Blu on Project Recovery. Blu Robinson joins Casey Scott and Dr. Matt Woolley to talk about his experiences growing up constantly being on the move from household to household due to his mother being in and out of marriages, living a life of lies early in his childhood, and trying to find a connection with others by integrating himself into the partying scene. Then Blu shares when he started finding his passion for helping others in their recovery journeys, how therapy helped him define who he was as a person, and his process of mourning his late mother after losing a relationship with her over the years. We also dive into Blu’s decision to create Addict II Athlete to help introduce addicts to a lifestyle that is focused on being physically active to create discipline in their recovery.
