Can tax relief incent individuals and investors to benefit unrelated communities? To help answer this question, we recently released two papers that provide an overview of Opportunity Zones and their impact on the multifamily housing market. Our March report examined how Opportunity Zones will influence multifamily activity in low-income markets in the years to come and our May report examined some of the multifamily market characteristics in Opportunity Zones by leveraging our own data.
