Beginning with Willie Taggart and Mario Cristobal, Oregon has become a major recruiting power in the state of California--something that has played out fortuitously over the last couple of years. Could that be altered by USC's 2024 move to the Big 10, a conference that is widely viewed as a step or 2 above the Pac-12?

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin is joined by 'Locked On USC' host Marc Kulkin, who weighs in on Oregon's ability to recruit in the Southern California area over the last couple of years. That has often resulted in the Ducks pulling kids up to Eugene who the Trojans were hoping to keep in their backyard--and the primary reason why shouldn't change once the Trojans head off to a bigger conference with more money.

Spencer and Marc also discuss how NIL could be used by both schools, and also how they've been using them on the recruiting front over the last year or so. Once the Trojans are out of the conference, could a home-and-home non-conference series be scheduled?
