On this Day of Service discover how you can use you gifts and talents to help others. Join me as Dr. Earlene Green of Agape Green Acres Ministry shares what she is doing to impact her community.

Agape Green Acres Ministry (AGAMi) seeks to provide resources to meet the needs of women and children within the community. The ministry also focuses on providing counseling for addiction and abuse, as well as offering assistance to individuals with government benefits. Mentorship and community outreach also make up a large portion of what AGAMi stands for.

A retired judge with a background in children and family services, Green is ecstatic to bring this non-denominational ministry to her new home in Jasper, Fl. Not only does she have experience working with women who suffered from opioid addiction and various other social issues, but she also has a passion for serving and bettering her community. After graduating with her Master's degree from Temple University, Green founded Agape House, Inc. in Pennsylvania in 1989. The ministry served as a transitional home for women coming out of substance abuse, and AGAMi is an extension of Agape House, Inc. Green has also served as a counselor in many different areas such as mental health and substance abuse, and has even served in correctional institutions.
