The importance of the inner child or innocence or young boy or girl inside of someone cannot be overstated. Having a sense of wonder, curiosity, belief that magic is real, and that happily ever exists aren't actually a sign of immaturity or weakness. They are in fact connections to the innocence that we all have inside of us that believes that anything is possible. When we lose that we become cold, bitter, less empathetic, nasty, and dead inside.
