Overflow Podcast

In this episode, we are recapping the weekend and talking about what God did at New River over the course of The Move and Sunday services. We had plans to talk about God's kindness and compassion, but we'll look at that next week!

In this episode, Pastor Ryan is sharing "Christophanies" in the Bible. This term refers to the possible, or likely, appearances of the pre-incarnate Jesus in the Old Testament. Listen in as they go through multiple accounts in the OT that allude to the physical presence of Jesus.

Fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom. It is both a starting place and a place Christians should humble themselves and return to. The Bible has much to say about fearing God. In this episode, we're talking about what it is, why it's important, and how we can live with a holy fear of God that keeps us close to Him.

Our good friend Charlee Buitrago joined us for our final episode of season 9! Charlee has been part of the New River family for nearly a decade. We're thankful he stopped by to share his wisdom and perspective on various aspects of living the Christ life, discipleship, and ministry altogether. Thank you, Charlee!

We're back after Thanksgiving break and recapping what's been going on the last couple of weeks. We're also diving back into the topic of angles since Hebrews 1 talks so much about them, and we round out our conversation with the age-old question: "Why do bad things happen to good people."

Pastor Dusty Brackett is joining us on the podcast today sharing his life, history with God, and all that has led him to this point of becoming our Executive Pastor at New River. He's also sharing his hopes, vision, and all he is looking forward to in this new role. Thank you, Pastor Dusty. We're glad your here!
