"My daughter cried when I told her she wasn't going back to school"

This week there's been lots of speculation as to whether schools for children with special needs would reopen this week.

However, it was announced by the Government last night that they would be remaining closed as they failed to come to an agreement with unions over protocols.

On today's show we spoke to founder of Autism charity As I Am, Adam Harris, about the affects this will have on children and what needs to be done.

We also heard from a number of parents. Some are concerned about their child's regression, however some are delighted schools are closed to keep everyone safe.
