Valentines Day 2014 began as a normal school day for the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Little did anyone know, a day most synonymous with love would soon become a day of absolute terror and would claim the lives of 17 innocent people and injure even more. Join Matt, Jules and Lisa as we unpack the days and months leading up to what is now known as the Parkland Shooting. Who is Nikolas Cruz? What causes someone to commit as mass shooting? Were there any warning signs? Are our teachers responsible for keeping our children safe? Is this a uniquely American problem? And lastly, did the punishment fit the crime?
