Party Favorz — Dance Music Podcast

Before I get into the mix, I have to comment on last night's final Democratic debate.  Aside from the niceties that were exchanged, Hillary looked FLAWLESS in her chocolate pantsuit coupled with some turquoise jewelry pieces for a splash of colo...

T.G.I.F. Ah yes...made it just in time for the weekend! This was no easy feat. Before I get on with the usual discussion about the songs on this mix, I want to bring up a few things.

First, there are only a few days remaining to get your vote in f...

What? Another update so soon? You bet! I told you at the beginning of the year I had a sh!t load of music to go through. Instead of combining many of the songs from the Funky Edition with the Tech House songs (much like in Party Favorz 2007: Funky Ed...

Not that I'm complaining; on the contrary, I...

Club Fusion presents Top Dance Songs of 2007, Volume 1 — a Year‑End mix of circuit and electro‑house meant to capture the shift in 2007 from big‑room progressive to tougher, synth‑forward dancefloor sounds. This collection curates club remixes that turned pop radio into late‑night dancefloor moments, pairing mainstream names with club stalwarts for nearly two hours of music.

Highlights include Johnny Vicious’s Party Mixshow on Kat Deluna’s “Whine Up,” Jody Den Broeder’s lush remix of Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” and Tiësto’s reconstruction of Justin Timberlake’s “Lovestoned.” The set also revisits house and disco‑leaning reworks from Bob Sinclar, Kristine W, and the Pet Shop Boys’ take on The Killers, illustrating how 2007 married disco revival and low‑tech electro‑pop with classic club treatment.

Designed for dance‑till‑dawn nights or a focused listen back through the era, this Year‑End Edition Volume 1 documents a moment when the club scene embraced brighter, funkier grooves without losing its edge.
