Party Favorz — Dance Music Podcast

This disco-focused Diva Hall of Fame tribute, released in 2023, revisits Donna Summer’s Casablanca years with a continuous-mix approach designed for modern listening. Party Favorz stitched lengthy originals, rare edits, and contemporary remixes into a flow that respects the originals while smoothing dramatic tempo shifts for the dance floor.

Highlights include new Barry Harris mixes of "Love to Love You Baby" and "MacArthur Park," signature re-edits from Digital Visions (many courtesy of DJ Freddy), and classic remix work from Frankie Knuckles and John Morales. Razormaid elements and Hot Tracks mixes sit alongside Digital Visions restorations to span Summer’s 1970s peak and overlooked 1980s moments.

The set leans on creative sequencing to keep long-form arrangements intact and playable for DJs and listeners alike. Party Favorz also points to Summer’s late-1990s resurgence and signals a second volume of modern remixes later in the year; several never-before-released Digital Visions edits anchor this revisitation, with acknowledgment of DJ Freddy’s central role and ongoing health struggles.

This Club Fusion Spring Break 2023 mix is a three-hour, peak-room set built to soundtrack spring-break playlists, club nights, and festival warmups. The collection pulls from early‑2023 EDM, tech house, future house and big-room releases — including a handful of unofficial bootlegs and DJ edits that have been driving dancefloors. Highlights thread pop and peak-hour material together: Miley Cyrus (eSQUIRE Remix), P!nk (Liam Pfeifer Remix) and Sam Smith (Jordi Rivera Remix) get club-friendly treatments, while Kx5’s Sacrifice (with Sofi Tukker), Alok & James Arthur’s Work With My Love (Extended Club Mix) and the Anyma upgrade of Fred Again.. & Swedish House Mafia’s Turn On The Lights Again land as true festival bombs. The set also nods to nostalgia with Alice Deejay and a fresh spin on Flo Rida, and includes tight DJ edits designed to keep momentum across the night. There’s a brief editorial gripe about overused samples and classic remakes, but mostly this mix aims to capture what DJs are actually spinning as spring gets underway.

House, Tech House and NuDisco — Top Dance Songs of 2022 Volume 2 collects the year’s most-played club remixes and extended mixes in a single 3:42:22 mix. This Club Fusion roundup aims to be a practical end-of-year document: what DJs and playlists actually spun in 2022, and which reworks kept floors moving despite a quieter year for breakout originals.

Highlights include Vintage Culture’s remix work and the PeteDown club mix of Swedish House Mafia & Sting, plus Dom Dolla’s peak-time energy, Purple Disco Machine’s modern disco touch, solid David Guetta reworks, and a late-year remix revisitation of Whitney Houston. The curator notes a recurring sameness across many releases and applauds the Latino crossover and strong remixes that nevertheless rescued the season; this volume is a tidy catch-up of the extended mixes and edits that defined many sets in 2022.
