Club Fusion Catch-Up 2020 is a midyear roundup of the biggest dance club songs from December through June, assembled to showcase commercial dance, disco-house, and mainstream EDM that defined the first half of 2020. The selection was compiled from Beatport charts, YouTube tallies, and personal DJ picks to spotlight tracks that kept playlists moving despite a disrupted chart environment.

Dua Lipa is a central presence with "Don't Start Now," "Physical," and "Break My Heart" anchoring the set, while Purple Disco Machine's throwback disco-house sound crops up in several standout remixes. Other highlights include Doja Cat's "Say So," Sofi Tukker & Gorgon City’s "House Arrest," Alex Newell's Tracy Young remix of "Boy, You Can Keep It," and The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" in a club-ready rework. The mix favors familiar summer contenders and remix-driven club edits over deep underground cuts.

Clocking in around three hours, this Catch-Up is built for fans of radio-friendly club pop and modern disco-house who want a concise snapshot of the past six months' dancefloor bangers.

Dance/House | Gay Anthems For a New Generation 2020 — a five-hour survey built to map what makes a modern gay anthem. This edition uses the themes outlined in the book Queer — perseverance, pride, unity, and unapologetic selfhood — and applies them to contemporary remixes and classic reworks made for today’s dance floors. The mix is meant as both an explainer and a Pride-ready soundtrack for 2020.

Highlights thread through big-voiced divas and transformative club edits: Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande sit alongside Cher and Whitney Houston, while Andra Day’s Rise Up is given renewed urgency in Barry Harris’s club treatment. Harris’s frequent remixes act as a glue, turning torch songs and pop hits into floor-ready statements. Expect reimagined Madonna, Dua Lipa, Rihanna and a balanced program that blends anthem history with contemporary dancefloor energy.

This compilation isn’t exhaustive, but it’s a curated roadmap to why certain songs resonate with LGBTQ+ crowds — from celebratory bangers to songs of survival and acceptance — all retooled for Pride season and beyond.

Disco mix — Thank God It's Disco Volume 3 (2020) digs into classic disco reworks and rare-era gems retouched for modern dancefloors. This 4+ hour set balances familiar crowd-pleasers with lesser-known originals whose riffs and hooks quietly shaped later house and club hits.

Expect standout remixes from Dimitri From Paris, Joey Negro, Dr. Packer, and Disco Incorporated alongside originals and edits by Sister Sledge, Chic, Jackie Moore, and Gary's Gang. The set intentionally highlights source-material connections — from John Davis & The Monster Orchestra to Gary's Gang — and points out how those motifs reappeared in 90s and 2000s dance tracks.

Rather than a greatest-hits laundry list, the compilation surfaces tucked-away treasures and respectful re-edits that preserve the original groove while updating production for peak-hour play. If you follow disco through to modern house, this mix is a thoughtful, long-form ride through lineage and dancefloor-ready reworks.

Disco remixes and reimagined classics: Thank God It's Disco Volume 2 (2020) gathers over four and a half hours of remastered 70s and 80s dancefloor gems updated for modern sound systems. This installment concentrates on rare versions and contemporary DJ edits that preserve the originals' groove while adding fresh production, restoring true song titles and remixer credits to make tracking releases easier on Juno, Beatport, or Traxsource.

The set leans into boogie and sophisticated disco textures with notable reworks of Change, Diana Ross, Blondie, and Patrice Rushen alongside edits by Purple Disco Machine and frequent remixer Dr. Packer. Barry Harris’s club mixes and live Sunday Tea Dance broadcasts are referenced as part of the current scene, but the compilation itself is aimed squarely at uninterrupted floor energy—roomy low end, steady party pace, and tasteful takes that keep the soul of the originals intact. Volume 3 is already teased for release soon; enjoy Volume 2 in the meantime.
