Brian Weiss's book "Through Time Into Healing" has an introduction written by Dr Raymond A. Moody, a psychiatrist and author who created the term 'near-death experiences' with his first book, 'Life After Life' in 1975.

Brian Weiss goes on to explore Near Death Experiences NDEs at length in his book. He notes there are many similarities between people who experience NDEs and PLR - past life regression.

Weiss says; "The similarity of the changes in values, perspective, and outlook on life that typically occur after the experience of an NDE and a past life recall is also very illuminating. You do not have to be hit by a truck or suffer a cardiac arrest to reap increased awareness or spirituality, decline in materialistic worries, the development of a more loving, peaceful nature, or any of the other benefits that past life regression and near death experience share.

Members of both groups experience a dramatic lessening of the fear of death and express the new and certain conviction that love is what really matters."

Dr Brian Weiss - Messages from the Masters from 2000, came out 12 years after his first groundbreaking book, Many Lives Many Masters. This is his fourth book.

His first books gave substantial details on the case studies of his past life regression therapies, to help heal body, mind and soul, and on relationships, soulmates and love.

William J. Baldwin's Spirit Releasement Therapy A Technical Manual from 1991 is a ground breaking landmark in the field. It's an essential read for anyone who encounters spiritual entities during regression work.

Baldwin writes about connecting with three forms of spiritual beings; your Spirit Guide, Soul Group and Soul Council. Yet these are not the only spiritual beings that exist in the spiritual world, and he does not omit three other forms of spiritual beings; Earthbound spirits, Dark Force Entities, and ETs, and also shows how to address them too.

Brian Weiss's book Many Lives Many Masters is perhaps the most influential and significant book in the genre of past life regression case studies. Published in 1988, it has sold over 2 million copies, and has popularized PLR more than any other single work.

In the book, Brian describes how he put his client Catherine into hypnosis, to explore her childhood. But he was shocked when she recalled her past lives, and had spiritual beings tell him things no one could possibly know about his deceased father and deceased son. That led Dr Weiss to become a past life regression therapist and author.
