From wedding videographer to fitness coach, from bankruptcy to film sets — Gordon Ace Hindson has lived a life full of reinvention, lessons, and laughter. Starting his early life juggling different jobs — from cadet nursing to factory work — Gordon went on to spend 30 years filming weddings before taking a leap into fitness and community work. After rebuilding his life through personal training and local initiatives like Small Steps, he found his next chapter in acting as a film and TV extra, appearing in shows such as Peaky Blinders, Adolescence, and I Fought The Law. Today, he’s also written and produced a heartwarming family short film, Alfie’s Dream – The Zombie United Football Match.

After working for 10 years to achieve her dream role as a Paediatric Community Nurse in the North East of England, Cheryl was forced to medically retire. What followed was heartbreak, depression, and the feeling that her life had been stripped away.

But Cheryl didn’t let cancer define her story. Instead, she found strength in building a new life — launching a small business selling wax melts, candles, and gifts, writing her bucket list, and achieving one of her biggest dreams: paying for her entire family to go to Disneyland with the money she earned herself.

In this inspiring conversation, Cheryl opens up about resilience, purpose, and how she continues to find joy while living with stage 4 cancer. Her story is a powerful reminder that even in the face of adversity, there is always hope.
