If you caught my Instagram stories a while back, you might have gathered by now I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with Oat Milk and can talk for days about how good it is!! I discovered it when my little girl Demi had a dairy intolerance as a baby, and haven't looked back since.
So safe to say I jumped at the chance to have All Good on the podcast – All Good are all about being... well good! Good for growers, good for the land, good for you. They search the world for the best Fairtrade bananas, mangos, and now oat milk, and bring them back for Kiwi families. It's all about choice – giving us the choice of more ethical options, that support growers and the land.
This week I'm chatting with Faye, General Manager of All Good, to hear all about where All Good started, the challenges of importing containers full of fresh bananas that only have a 24 hour shelf life, and the joys of launching their Oat Milk, a brand new cafe product, 3 weeks before lockdown kicked in and all our cafes shut!
We also dip into her personal career and background and how she ended up as GM of a Fairtrade banana company, and what she's learned along the way... So grab a banana (or maybe an Oat Milk flat white) and get comfy for today's Pep Talk!
Make sure you keep an eye out for that All Good sticker on your bananas next time you're doing your food shopping, and give oat milk a try if you haven't already. If you're listening to this episode around the time of launch, head over to the Pep Talk Instagram @peptalknz as we have an exciting giveaway with All Good kicking off, so you can try their amazing Oat Milk for yourself.
