A Rittenhouse juror has been removed after making a Jacob Blake joke to a deputy at the courthouse. The shooting of Jacob Blake by law enforcement was the instigating factor in the Kenosha riots, where Rittenhouse killed two people and wounded a third according to charges. Jury selection on the killing of Ahmaud Arbery in GA is complete. With only 1 black juror selected, the judge says "there appears to be intentional discrimination" but allows the trial to move forward. Defense attorneys argue there aren't enough "Bubbas." A Russian analyst has been charged with five counts of making false statements to the FBI about his sources for certain claims in the Steele dossier. Benaddiction is opening a second location.

Now that ages 5-11 are eligible for the Pfizer COVID vaccines, the state is launching a robust program to provide access. A graphic claiming to represent drastically increased reactions reported to the CDC for vaccines in kids making its way around the internet is misleading and inaccurate. Listeners comment.

Following the Fresno County Board of Supervisors moving forward with a map developed by the Fair Representation Coalition, some groups are threatening litigation claiming the redistricting map does not accurately reflect minorities and communities of interest. Plans for a Costco in NW Fresno are moving forward with little pushback from the neighborhood at a recent public scoping meeting held by the Fresno Planning and Development Department. Fresno County is slated to receive $194 million in funds from the American Rescue Plan Act and the community is invited to vote on where the funds should go--essential workers, public sector revenue loss, infrastructure and public health/economic recovery.
