Welcome back to the podcast, today I wanted to continue our better health talk, following the brilliant insights by Ari Whitten in 'Eat For Energy."
Introducing Dr. Jason Fung to the podcast, a renowned Canadian nephrologist with a remarkable reputation as a world-leading expert in intermittent fasting and low carb dietary interventions, especially for people living with type 2 diabetes.
In this episode, Jason Fung explains why the common belief of calories in versus calories out is not helpful in weight loss because it oversimplifies the process. This belief assumes that all calories are equal and that the body processes them the same way, regardless of the food source. However, this is not true, as different foods cause different hormonal responses that affect how the body processes calories.
As a prolific author, Dr. Fung has penned three best-selling health books and co-founded the Intensive Dietary Management program. He is committed to promoting healthy living practices that inspire a better quality of life for all.
With a rich academic background, Dr. Fung holds a degree from the prestigious University of Toronto and completed his residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. He currently resides in Toronto, Canada, where he is actively engaged in his mission to transform healthcare, one patient at a time.

Welcome to today's episode. I am excited to share with you a concept that has the potential to transform your approach to life. In 2019, I came across the idea of Anti-Fragility, a revolutionary concept based on Nassim Taleb's book, "Anti Fragile."
In a world that is filled with challenges, setbacks, and obstacles, becoming anti-fragile means using these hurdles as fuel for your growth. It's about stepping forward into growth, rather than stepping back into safety.
Anti-fragility is not just about surviving tough times, but thriving in them. It's a mindset that values experimentation, learning, and adaptation. It encourages individuals to embrace change, volatility, and uncertainty, and turn obstacles into opportunities.
So, if you are ready to transform your approach to life and thrive in the face of adversity, then listen up. Because today, we are going to explore the concept of Anti-Fragility, and how you can become more antifragile in your personal and professional life.
Enjoy!

Today, I am featuring 'The War of Art' by Steven Pressfield which I believe is the third book of his I have covered on this podcast. In episode 35, I shared his brilliant book, "Turning Pro", and back in Episode 53 I brought to you his latest book - "Put Your Ass Where Your Heart Wants to Be."
"The War of Art" is a book about the creative process and how to overcome resistance to achieve creative success. The book argues that creative work is a battle between the artist and resistance, which takes many forms, such as self-doubt, procrastination, and fear. Pressfield argues that resistance is an internal force that must be overcome to achieve creative success. He provides strategies for identifying and defeating resistance, including developing a daily creative practice, seeking inspiration from others, and embracing failure as a learning opportunity. Overall, the book encourages readers to face their fears and pursue their creative ambitions with courage and determination.
Hope you enjoy this quick look at another one of Steven Pressfield' s writing gems.
Enjoy!

In today's podcast, the one and only Wayne Dyer shares some incredible wisdom about overcoming the excuses that hold us back. Let's face it, we all make excuses from time to time, but what really counts is how we deal with them. And with Wayne's insightful perspective, you'll learn some powerful strategies for taking control of your excuses and moving forward towards your goals. So, if you're ready to get inspired and motivated to take action, take a moment to enjoy this episode.
The first question to ask yourself about any excuse you use is, "is it true?" Don't believe everything you think. Let's take the first excuse: "It's going to be difficult." The question is, can you be 100% certain that what you are thinking as an excuse is true? Is there any possibility that it might not be difficult? The idea that you can't afford it may or may not be true. If it's not 100% true, then what's the reverse of that thought? It's going to be easy. You have a choice. You become what you think about, so think from the end rather than about the end.
Enjoy!
