She completed her PhD at UQ in 2023, focusing on disability and management strategies for individuals with persistent intra-articular TMDs.     Dr Seth O’Neill has been teaching and researching at the University of Leicester since 2006. He currently acts as the research director for the school of healthcare and as the deputy head of school. His research spans sporting populations and NHS groups and predominately focuses on tendon disease - tendinopathy or ruptures. He has completed a PhD on achilles tendinopathy. Seth is currently researching tendon structure and changes that occur during health and disease along with biopsychosocial interventions for tendinopathy and back pain and developing an international database of calf injuries.

    Dr Ebonie Rio is a Sports Physiotherapist at the Victorian Institute of Sport, The Australian Ballet, and she consults to multiple AFL, Rugby, elite Soccer and Basketball clubs. She is the Principle Research Fellow at The Australian Ballet, a joint position with La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre. Ebonie co-leads activities in the High Performance 2032+ Strategy in Research and Innovation. She is the Deputy Manager of the Physiotherapy Department at VIS and co-chairs the research council.

    Dr Melinda Smith is a Lecturer at the University of Queensland and Physiotherapist at Clem Jones Centre Physio & Rehab in Brisbane. Melinda’s clinical, teaching and research focus is lower limb musculoskeletal function and health, with a special interest in the foot and ankle. Her research publications extend across several areas including lower limb function, sports and running related injuries, taping, foot orthoses, footwear, measurement of foot posture and mobility, gait-retraining and musculoskeletal imaging.

    Dr Val Jones is a Physiotherapy Specialist working at the Sheffield Shoulder and Elbow Unit. She also works in private practice and lectures internationally about the assessment and rehabilitation of the elbow joint. Val has published in peer reviewed journals and is a previous AHP representative on the British Elbow and Shoulder Society Council, as well as being the current UK national delegate and board member of EUSSER. She is also an associate editor for the Shoulder & Elbow journal.
