The concluding book of the Lord Of The Rings is The Return Of The King and in movie mode it runs 4:30.  The books are beyond compare and have become the legendarium of a nation.  Their epic cinematic production that took place 20 years ago on the other side of the world in what is widely considered the most beautiful country in the world, New Zealand, for movies set a new bar.  I have thorough enjoy this slow plod through MiddleEarth -- and I hope that you enjoy this listen.  It has been an honor to write and talk on such wondrous wizardry and genius.

PAUL ANGELO MEDINA has been a friend of mine since childhood -- and since then Paul has done a lot.  Paul's latest and greatest achievement has been the founding of CAPITAL ENERGY TRAINING -- a premier personal training experience.  What separates Paul from the rest of the training field is his expertise in kinesiology -- a comprehensive mastery of how the body moves and how all its parts interrelate.

Jack Rolle was a student at Mater Dei when he got diagnosed with cancer. He beat it and has a scar over his right eye as a reminder. Life is precious and Jack got this life lesson at a young age, and since, Jack has followed his heart and is now 23 and is touring the nation and playing the music that he has created and loves. Jack passion is how we are all called to live.

Thank you, Jack, for tell your story and speaking your passion. I hope that you all enjoy this as much as I did, and what is more (and Jack would agree) — you’re never too old or too young to follow your heart.

Mackey Chase is a 7th grader at Mater Dei School; I met Mackey as a first grader -- that many years ago.  1st grade PE began, and it did not take long for Brian Danver and I to pick up on  Mackey's passion for the Cincinnati Bengals, who at the time and for a longer time had been a punching bag for much of the NFL.  Now the Bengals are going to the Super Bowl.  Mackey talks about his favorite team and why he has stood by his squad -- from the outhouse to the penthouse.  

GO BENGALS (and good job Mackey -- always follow your passions)!!!

Matthew is not only a musical maven, he is a like-minded, intelligent, curious friend.  Matt and I taught together at Mater Dei, and it is there that he also taught me piano.  Matt is a local treasure, a national treasure of musical knowledge, and it was a true treat to just even scratch the surface.

Baby, it's cold outside is right! 

It went from a balmy December to a frigid January kinda in a snap.  As I type from my warm studio and as many may being sipping coffee or coco in comfort, there are many who are shivering.  To help alleviate the shivers -- enter THE STAY WARM CHALLENGE!  The Stay Warm Challenge is a charitable competition to raise money to form Stay Warm Bundles, which consist of blankets, mittens, hat, coats, etc -- all things that most of us are privileged to have with many others kinda dying for -- kinda literally.  The Halls have already purchased what necessitates to 500 bundles which will be assembled when the challenge ends on February 5.  Upon conclusion, the bundles are caravanned to shelters to be bestowed to those who are in need.  The time is NOW!!
