Hey friendos, we are back with Part 2 of SD Perry's Resident Evil: City of the Dead. Just as an experiment I asked Google Bard to write an episode description for this episode. Do you know what it said? It said that this is a bad book and that we'd be making fun of the book in this episode.

Let me tell you, Google Bard, and the AI schlock peddlers wouldn't know a good book if it bit them in the bits. Cause we are having an absolute blast. Anyway! Enjoy the episode!

This book looked like it was getting better for a hot second but then it got demonstrably worse. All warning from last episode carry over in this case!

This is CERTAINLY a BOOK. Written by Jane Jensen and based on the video game of the same name, Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers tells the story about a terrible writer who decides to investigate the Voodoo Murders in New Orleans. It goes places. As a Content Warning the depictions of Voodoo and the black residents of New Orleans leaves a lot to be desired. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, feel free to skip this series!

Additionally: if the mix sounds weird it's because I'm migrating to some different software and I don't quiiite have all my ducks in a row yet. Forcing myself to learn new things to free myself from Adobe's grasp.

Jesse joins Kevin and Phil once again to talk movies. This episode we are getting into the 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie, a weird flick featuring Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo as the titular brothers. Content Warning: There's a 9/11 joke toward the end of the episode, so, if that isn't your cup o' tea feel free to skip!

Next week kicks off our next series, Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers.
