The Posse is back as we have an interview with Military Modelcraft International Magazine. We discuss his background as a modeler as well as a magazine editor, and get his perspectives on model related publishing in 2023.

We also discuss the thrill of retail therapy - getting excited when that new kit, tool, or bottle of paint hits your bench - and whether or not that is a good thing or a bad thing. We discuss some of our favorite builds on the Plastic Posse Facebook group, recap the recent shows we have attended, and much more!

The Posse is back as we prepare for the 2023 48 in 48 Birthday Bash event to benefit Models 4 Heroes, a charity that we partner with and are passionate about. This event runs Mar 10 - 12 worldwide, and we will be a part of all of the fun! To get ready, we interview the One and Only Malcolm Childs, founder of Models 4 Heroes, and Stephan and Meranda Mertens of Scale Models for Veterans, a partner organization in the Netherlands!

We also spend time with one of our Posse Outriders, Zach Pease! We get his perspective on his own modeling and the hobby!

We also discuss whether physical copies of books are still the preferred way for us to get modeling references and inspiration, or if digital is the way of the world. Scott also asks his co-hosts the question, "If you could change or improve just 1 thing about your modeling, what would it be?"

We have a GREAT conversation and catch up with Jeremy Moore, armor and aircraft  modeler extraordinaire!

We also discuss whether hopping from scale to scale or subject to subject is a good thing, and also why modelers lose confidence, and how to regain that confidence once it is gone.

Speaking of 2023 - check out our show section below for upcoming model events in the first quarter including IPMS Hamiltons' Heritagecon, the NWSM Model Mania Show, Commiesfest, and IPMS Richmonds' Old Dominion Open. Hope to see many of you there!

We have a GREAT conversation and catch up with our favorite Uncle, Martin Kovac! We talk about his newfound enthusiasm, overcoming obstacles, and changes to his Night Shift YouTube channel!

We also discuss having passion for your modeling, without falling in love with it. We also discuss balancing realism versus artistic interpretation. We field some great listener feedback, and have a great time! Our new format is looser and more fun, and we do less reading and more talking as friends who share this great hobby!

We are back after a Holiday break, and we try to shake the rust off as we recap 2022 and look forward to 2023. We talk about upcoming shows and plans, and JB leads us in an interesting discussion about 2023 being the year of Modeling WWI subjects, thanks to the efforts of manufacturers like ICM, Copper State, Takom, Miniart, and others. We also include a recording our recent live recapping 2022 and looking ahead to 2023, and tease some changes to our Podcast and community for 2023.
