Tonight we recap and review the Podcast Consumer 2019 report from Triton Digital and Edison Research.  As usual, the numbers continue to move in the right direction and the market for consumers is growing. 

There were some other really interesting numbers about how we listen to podcasts, why we listen to podcasts, how we discover podcasts, and what is holding people back. 

It's a very comprehensive report and presentation that we encourage you to check out. 

We also take a quick look at some stories out of the Podcast Business Journal about YouTube being the number 1 place for podcast consumption.  Tom feels vindicated, Mathew still has his reservations. 

How and where should I distribute my podcast, and what links do I share when it comes time to publicize. Tom Kelly and Mathew Passy discuss, and we have a special interview with James Cridland of PodNews that we did at Podfest 2019.

On today’s mini episode of Podcast Me Anything, I am joined by Evo Terra of Podcast Pontifications which he does on Facebook 4 days a week. I caught up with Evo at Podfest 2019 to discuss the Infinite Dial 2019 report that had just been released. Evo goes over some of the positive news in this consumer digital report about the podcasting space and what’s coming.

Mathew Passy and Tom Kelly share the joy they experienced while attending Podfest 2019and why you as a podcaster, should consider going to any podcasting events you can. Reminder, Podcast Movement is coming up soon. Although don’t go to promote your show.

Also, we share our chat with Tyson Moultrie of Diversified Game podcast, from Podfest 2019. He had a question about overall audio quality of the show.
