The audio has some serious problem with volume. The hosts have a ton of inside jokes laughing at things that aren't funny (at least to the audience) and they decided to use their first impression talking about sponsors. Not a great first impression. Be organized, get your audio volume consistent, and get off of Soundcloud. Opinion:

I love the obvious name of the show (no guessing what it's about). I loved the energy of the intro. I would cut out the musical interludes and go from voice to voice to voice. Your co-host was way far away from the microphone and if you have people grabbing their volume know, the next knob they grab is the unsubscribe.

The fact that you started recording without knowing your equipment is unprofessional. If you want to clue the live audience in that there may be some bumps in the road, but you have a HUGE opportunity to cut that out in post for the audio. Nobody cares how the sausage was made, they only care what it tastes like.

The introduction of your co-hosts was drawn out. I am also tempted to be funny and witty. The audience just wants you to talk about the fight. Get to the fight, get to the good stuff, then be funny later in the show where the fans will stick around.

The "teaser" at the beginning was a little long, the production and sound quality was good. I liked that the pastor was presenting biblical stories in a way that the audience could relate to in today's world.

Opinion:

Good intro, but when you guys come on, you sound like you're trying to figure out what the show is about today (this should be done before hitting record). Your audio is a little on the low side, and trying to make each other laugh is not a good first impression. We don't get your jokes as we don't know you. You might try stating what you're going to be talking about, have everyone say their name (so we know what name to associate with the voice).

You have a passion for Hockey, why not get to it sooner, and in a more organized fashion.

Great intro, I knew exactly what I was getting into. Your quick mention about fundraising was just that - quick. I loved the introduction in that you were reading it, but also throwing in some sincere thoughts on the guest, and you sounded thrilled to be bringing the guest on to the show. If this is what I want to hear, I'm ready. If not, I know to eject - and your audience appreciates that.

The intro is good, but when you come on your audio is pretty bad. Get closer to the microphone to cut down on the reverb. Dr. Jergensen had a good story but you are talking about grapes, wine, and location. Either tease the audience or just get to the good stuff. Nobody cares about wine, this is not a wine show, it's about Dentistry, talk about Dentistry. It's ok to chit-chat with your guest before the interview, just cut it out of the show. Nobody cares about how many acres his farm is.

This is a depressing subject, but I was surprised by the snarkiness that made it entertaining. Even though you were reading to me, you didn't do it in a way that was too boring. Becuase of the additional attitude, I could handle listening to this show. It's kind of knowledge for a dinner party with the Adam's Family. The intro was a little long, but not to the point of being super annoying.

Opinion:

I really liked the energy at the beginning. I liked the attitude and the fact that you gave us a preview of what you were going to talk about. I liked that you did a quick review of last week (showing you were right - without milking it). 

I like that you explained the purpose of the show for new people. Again this was clear and concise. You get in, make your point, and move on. 

The only thing I was confused on is how I was going to get hurt with MMA. It wasn't until later when you talked about betting on the fights that the light bulb came on.

If the website you are sending people to has an affiliate program, I would get a website (even if it's a free wordpress site like this one tied in with a domain name. If you need to send people links, you can send people to that website where the link you want to click are waiting for them.

Opinion:

This is a very niche and unique show that should be experienced with your eyes shut and your earbuds in. The stereo imagery was cool, the voice is intended for children, and I would LOVE to know if a hyper kid would actually strap on some headphones and listen. I'm going to recommend this to a friend of mine who loves creative things for her kids.

Opinion:

I like the tease at the beginning of the show so people can decide if they want to listen. I know exactly what the show is about and who the target audience is. You then have us sit through a weather report, and a whole lot of asking for stuff. If you follow Gary V's philosophy you give first then take. If a new person comes to your show, you are asking for a review and I would ask, "a review of what? that person hasn't heard any real content yet." Also, rating and reviews help in social proof but not in rankings in iTunes is a crap shoot, and for the most part don't boost downloads (at least in the thousands that people think they would). You mentioned the No Agenda Show, they do their pimping in the middle of the show. They also make their donation segment entertaining (John and his pronunciations, and Jingles).

You seem apologetic to self-promote. Change that around and use your experience to introduce yourselves. I"m John and I've been providing Emergency Wordpress support for over X years. Find me at (website). I'm Marcus Couch the editor of .... You guys always do a good job at the end with the "Fine me at " mentions. Use this in the intro to answer the new listener's question, "Why should I listen to these guys." Just make it quick and focused (we don't need the whole resume).Remember the goal is to get to the content. A new listener doesn't really care about you until you give them good content.

You might consider moving some of your segments (asking for donations, asking for plugins to review) and work them in between the plugins. Currently, I fast forward through the first 5 minutes of your show until I hear the music alerting me the real show is going to start. If you got to the plugins, and the intertwined the spots in between the plugins (in a focused, straight to the point way) I think people would sit through the spots knowing that another plugin was around the corner. Realize the people who have been skipping the beginning of your show will not like this new format (as you've removed the option to skip the plugs and asks...)

BONUS

Your show is listed twice in iTunes with both listings pointing at the same feed (I didn't know that was even possible). This might end up hurting your rankings as you are competing against yourself. 

The listing in iTunes that has a spot for your website has your feed there (so people who click on website to go to your website are probably going to get a face full of code). So instead of driving traffic to your website, your potentially confusing your audience

Your audio has a high pitched noise in it (more than likely a ground loop). I heard it in my headphones, but probably not a huge deal if I was listening in a car. 

Wrap Up

This is different, as I've listened to this show for years. I always fast forward through the intro as I tune in for the plugins. It's hard as you are putting alot of time into it, and you need some ROI for your time. How do you plug your services without taking away too much from the content?
