What I Liked About This EpisodeThe host seems to have a passion to help people.
What I Thought Could Use Some PolishingYour description has a very, very, long sentence that confuses people.
Your audio quality does not help your brand. The music at the beginning is just bad and an easy fix.
An apology was not needed.
You need to pick a schedule that you can create regularly.
Most of this can be solved with a less than $100 microphone and using a free tool like Audacity.
In general, for the fifth episode it sounds like someone on their fifth episode, but you need some guidance because in its current format, this podcast will have a hard time growing.

What I Liked About This EpisodeThe audio was good, and the delivery was good. The host did a good job of establishing the topic, and the guest. He had a nice fluffy opening question and then got right to the meaty questions that we all know are coming.
What I Thought Could Use Some PolishingI always enjoy it when someone gives me the exact link to where I can find the show notes/description.
Your Twitter handles sounded like a cat walking on a piano. Follow me on dhfgrtyd ??
Don't try to be radio, and use those catchphrases. Just take your transition music and fade it in as you transition to the interview.
You did a great job if introducing the guest, but you never really introduced the show (vs the episode).

What I Liked About This EpisodeThe audio quality is top-notch, and the delivery is really good. You do a great job of explaining what the show is about and getting right to your guest. You give a table of contents so the listener can decide if they want to stick around or not.
The production was top-notch with great audio and presentation.
What I Thought Could Use Some PolishingFor Me, while I get why we read someone's bio, I'm more interested in why the host is excited to have someone on their show. The other thing my logical mind is wanting is a goal. We learn about podcast hosts so I can ???? (be a better podcaster? ).
I never understand the question, "what was podcasting like in 2005?" Now, consider your source, for me, it is somewhat of a boring question (because I was there) and I never quite get what value that delivers for the audience. But again, that's me - in this case - talking about me. As this is more of "the story of the host" I can see why the question is there.

What I Liked About This EpisodeYour introduction was well-produced and sounded great. It established your credibility, let us learn a little bit about you, and sounded professional.
You did a great job of talking to one person, and you seemed relaxed and it just flowed nicely.
What I Thought Could Use Some PolishingYour audio logo at the beginning ends abruptly. Let that guitar chord ring out. The sound effects caught my attention, and by the time I could almost figure out what was going on, it was over.
Your audio in the episode is a 7 whereas the episode in the intro was a 10. It sounds like your microphone is too far away. It is still listenable, but because it comes after your intro (which sounds amazing) it is noticeable.
The good news is it is an easy fix. Just move your microphone closer and have some sort of wind screen/pop filter (or do whatever you did when you recorded your introduction).

Podcast Rodeo Show: Reviews and First Impressions of Your Podcast I break down the basics of crypto and show how to take part in the potential asymmetric risks and gains crypto has to offer. I'll help you understand how it all works and get started.

What I Liked About This EpisodeYou do a good job of talking to one person, and you get right to the point. You're doing a good job of sounding like a friend on the other side of the table who is just explaining things to me.
You had done some good research, and you had links in your show notes.
I liked the island story as it triggered the theater of the mind (which is going to be needed a lot when you talk numbers the theater of the mind gets cloudy quickly).
What I Thought Could Use Some PolishingDuring the Gold discussion, I got bored and wondered if we needed all this detail. It's hard to make finance "fun" and "engaging."

When Emily Gellis hears rumors of people suffering horrible side effects from a trendy diet she springs into action. Armed with over a hundred thousand Instagram followers, Emily launches a social media crusade to expose F-Factor and its founder, Tanya Zuckerbrot. It’s the start of a feud that will attract trolls, lawyers, and, eventually, national media all because of fiber. From Wondery, this is a story about wealth, wellness, and influence narrated by Casey Wilson.

Quick CommentI picked this episode as I know two people who said they were listening to it. This somewhat builds up expectations. After all, this is a WONDERY show, so I'm expecting this episode to knock me out of my chair (and that may not be fair).
What I Liked About This EpisodeThe production and soundscaping was off the charts.
What I Thought Could Use Some PolishingThe pace was a bit slow for me, and what are the stakes? So these two people hate each other, is there a cage match to the death? Why do I care about these people?

Podcast Rodeo Show: Reviews and First Impressions of Your Podcast A podcast about the modern-day “cults” we all follow. Hosts Isa Medina and Amanda Montell ask the culty questions we’re all wondering… Do you think SoulCycle is a cult? What about Elon Musk stans? Or the Royal Family? What about spiritual influencers? Is Instagram itself a cult? We’re Sounds Like A Cult, a podcast that analyzes a different zeitgeisty group every week to try and answer the big question: This group sounds like a cult, but is it really? And if so, how bad is it?
What I Liked About This EpisodeThe intro using listener voices was different and it sets the stage of "Do I agree or disagree with these people?." I did like that once all the housekeeping was done, you got right to the point and answered the questions I was thinking.
What I Thought Could Use Some PolishingIsa needs some mic technique training. Get a pop filter or windscreen. Three advertisements (4 if you count patreon) had me right on the edge of pressing next. In the end I wanted to hear more.

What I Liked About This EpisodeYou seem to be having fun.
What I Thought Could Use Some Polishing1. Buy a domain at www.coolerwebsites.com and if nothing else point it at your anchor page (better go to www.trypodpage.com and make a decent website with your domain).
2. Everybody gets a mic. Sharing a mic creates sub-par audio.
3. Know what you're going to say BEFORE you press the microphone.
4. Edit silly mistakes out of your show.

Podcast Rodeo Show: Reviews and First Impressions of Your Podcast The daily news can fill us with despair. My Unsung Hero is an antidote to that despair. Each episode reveals what the news ignores: everyday acts of kindness and courage that transformed someone's life. Listen — and renew your faith in humanity. From Hidden Brain Media.
What I Liked About This EpisodeThe audio sounded great, and the music gave a peaceful vibe. I enjoyed the accent of the host. The story was short and to the point.
What I Thought Could Use Some PolishingWhen the story audio is coming from someone and somewhere that you have no control over, I would just tell people if they are recording with their phone DO NOT put it on speaker, but instead press record and hold it up to your mouth.
Then I would use Descript (not so much for the Transcription) but the Studio Sound tool.

What I Liked About This EpisodeThe host sounded great. Some decent production at the opening. You got right to the guest and showed you had done your homework.
Some "outside the box" thinking using your discord server as your website. I'm not sure if that is good or bad, but I like the creativity.
What I Thought Could Use Some PolishingThe co-host sounds like he is a mile away in a cave. Check out the Samson Q2U microphone.
You forgot to introduce the show (you did a great job of introducing the episode, but didn't introduce the show).
