Hershall, we kicked off the program today with an email containing a shout-out to the 
Raise a Hallelujah Podcast... tween me and you, Hersh, the shout-out came from a close family member, but we decided contact the hosts of the podcast and we had a great conversation with them. Their names are Rev. Bobby and Sis. Bekah Sandlin and here is a link to their show.

Hershall, I don't want to give away too much information in this description, but I think someone, who's voice has been a staple here at Pod'N Me, may be in jeopardy (big word for danger) of losing their position here... You'll find out very soon. We had a rather serious talk toward the beginning of the show about the methods of worship versus the object of worship. Then we covered a plethora (big word for many) of topics including: preaching advise, how to open charcoal bags and cement bags, flat screwdrivers, Plumed headwater, fencepost foam, devotions before bed, the consumption of insects.... and we flawlessly moved through each subject with ease, as you would expect... Dink Burbank had a bit of a catastrophe (big word for bad things that happened) in his news room. but managed to make it through and finish strong. We fulfilled a request for Sis. Connie to be back with some Basement Bargains. Among the words that were used for the first time on this podcast were: ossafrage & aggregate. Oh yeah and we found out Deacon Dustin is a snake handler. We also hear Big Bad Brad holler out a street term... Enjoy!

Hershall, we always try to lead with our mistakes here, so when we got the news that a listener was offended, we took drastic measures and I think we patched things up in a grand fashion. Then, we talked about many random things this week including: shrugged shoulders, frog names, quail losses, clothing patterns, turning thanks, and on and on could go... (actually we did go) Dink Burbank delivered a very timely, interesting deep dive to our news segment. I think you'll be intrigued by his take on the topic of artificial intelligence. Hersh, I'm glad that you're here today. There was a special piece of correspondence that came to us this week and we decided to include it as a wonderful portion on our program. I know you are aware about it so be excited when you listen... It has to do with your eldest offspring (big word for child). We also had a chorus of opinions mentioned on this episode  and our very own Songleader said he loves a good Three-peat (new word where three people repeat the same issue). Among the other topics discussed today are: breath mints, cologne (brute for women), missed childhood candy, and we found out that Og is actually a king. Hershall, I think we have a few surprises in store on today's episode. One was a very special Birthday wish and song to The Emma Fluencer. We also discuss the possibility of starting a Pod'N Me Boutique (big word for over priced clothing). We received some very touching trinkets (another big word for over priced items) from our very own Songleader. He took a recent trip over seas and was gracious enough to bring the Deacon Dustin and me some very costly souvenirs (big word for overprices items again). We got a puppet hair growth update as well as a progress report on Bro. Brad's diminishing farm. Hint: he's missing some hoppers (cryptic word for Leporidae) 
Speaking  of Bro. Brad... He actually answers the call on this episode and I think Rev. Brad Cottrell is an appropriate title for now... We'll see... Hey stay til the end of the episode because I actually forgot a very important segment... No joke! Enjoy!

 Hershall, It has been a wonderful privilege again today to visit with Pastor Jon Isaacs. As we promised yesterday we talked about a very important aspect of Christianity. It's one that is anchored on the fact that Christ arose from the grave and that is the subject of a resurrected life. When we are born into the family of God by faith in Christ, we receive a new life to live here but that's not all... One of these days, our sinful, corruptible bodies will be changed. Bro. Isaacs and I talk about what the Word of God says that will be like. We are always bettered when we discuss the eternal truths that are laid out on the life of Christ! Enjoy!

Hershall, in light of the Resurrection of Our Lord, we set aside a couple of days here on Pod'N Me to reflect on the power of what happened in the life of one particular woman recorded in the Word of God all those many years ago. Pastor Jon Isaacs, who is a repeat guest, is here for two days to recount this woman's journey of faith in Christ. Hershall, I made an executive (big word for Devin) decision to exclude your name from the title of this episode since you kinda snuck in to Studio 4 today. That doesn't at all mean that we weren't grateful for your sacrifice in showing up. We had an eventful day today... Maybe even HISTORIC (big word for famous or potentially so) in a way. We heard from an infamous feed-backer today that so graciously made the decision to inform us that his email would likely (big word for we would like) be his last correspondence via email.... we shall see. As usual, we covered a wonderful range of topics such as: 7-eleven (not a sponsor) credit cards, Opossums (and possums), and organ donations. We heard another new venture from the Deacon about bringing invaded by a family of felis sylvestris catus (big words for cats). Hershall, who knew that in just 2 1/2 short years that your work in feeding animals would have such a profound effect (or "affect" the humble typist can't ever recall which type -pun intended- of effect to have on a sentence) on our very own cast of characters, so to speak (or type or read -depending on whether you are me or you, the typist or the read-est... ne'er mind, you get the point)? I am referring to the fact that now after almost 3 years of Pod'N Me, Our virtual Songleader, Brad Cottrell and our virtual Deacon, Dustin Wakley both are endeared (big word for locked in love) to the animal kingdom. A kingdom of animals would be a good way to describe what Bro. Brad has now... so many animals that we sang a portion of an old nursery rhyme to him and about him. We also had a wonderful guest on this episode. It was my youngest son, Bryce Birdsong. As we promised last week, he made his appearance in honor of this being the month of his nativity. Among other topics discussed today was: Brad's Fan Encounter, Ostriches in Dustin's Garage and The Deacon and I sing a made up song together with the same words and tune to start out. We were so convincing that the Songleader thought it was a legit (cooler shortened way of saying legitimate). We ended the train wreck today by playing a couple of songs by Bro. Dustin and my favorite female vocalist.... Enjoy!
