Hershall, in true Pod'N Me fashion, I was late getting my January interview completed but I do not think you'll be disappointed by what the conversation was about today. I got to hear from a friend and fellow pastor.  Rev. Jon Isaacs is here and he shared his personal testimony that should give every youth pastor hope. He then talked about a very important part of his own church ministry and that is where he sets special time out of every year to concentrate on the needs of the family. Hello Churchcast members, (Hershall is still on the house) First things first, Loretta and The Sunshine Girls (their daughters) sang our opening song. The did awesome, I must say...
 I sure hate to be the one to brag on the poetry especially since I'm the writer/composer of said piece but I have no one else present to boast for me, but I must say the Christmas poem at the first of the show worked out to be a masterpiece. After hours of hard work, I was able to unveil my newfound (big word meaning recently discovered) talent. I even went to a new uppity (elevated word) way to identify myself.... enough about me. We then moved to feedback and totally mistook a name in an email for an off-brand clothing line.  At last we gave our favorite Christmas songs of this year. Folks, (Hershall is in the studio so I have to type to someone else) we had a service that was in true Pod'N Me style. We started with a throwback to last week when Brad brought Orbison, Willie & Hall in for some tempting Christmas tunes to see if the Deacon would be placed under conviction.... Did I mention in a previous episode that December episodes leading up to Christmas would NOT be serious?? Well, full disclosure, today's episode was no exception. Somewhere along the way the Deacon made a 3-string guitar sound with is mouth and proceeded to sing a bit in Spanish... we think?? That little bit kept coming up over and over but in the meantime (offensive sounding word), we opened some very nice fan-mail, read reviews and had a all around time of good cheer.... Hershall, we have a lengthy service today but I know you won't be disappointed. We covered some relevant (big word meaning pertinent *bigger word) topics today. The brethren and I muse (big word meaning to become absorbed by thought) about such things as Tithingman, boots and suits, and we even had a feedbacker that said we have replaced his listening content... among the list was the most popular conservative podcaster. we talked about Un-common names and how hard it is to find a souvenir name plate when your name is not that common... (see Title 👆👆) We wrapped up the service today by talking about things we are to keep and things we are to leave behind. It was conversation spurred (big word meaning urged by a sharp object *I now regret using the word because no sharp objects were used in the production of this episode) by a recent Sunday school series taught by our Songleader's father.... Hershall, we had another fan of the show here today. T'was the fulfillment of a promise, although not the exact person that was promised. Mariah Brock will be here in a few weeks. (The Lord be willing) We had another Brock here for church. That would be none other that Rev. David Brock Jr. It was a wonderful conversation with a man who has been an inspiration to me for many years. I feel so honored to have him here today. In spite of many challenges, he has been an overcomer with one of the greatest attitudes! He details the difficult circumstances surrounding his birth and how God gave his parents a promise that he would carry the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. He also shared a piece of his love story with his wife and how once again God confirmed his Word! you will not be disappointed in hearing his story that he tells for the glory of God! We had a regular Pod'N Meetin with feedback and the other segments... even threw in a new item from the production room.
